Flies and bugs and things ... where have they all gone ?
I used to remember driving down the motorway (or quick A roads) back in the 70's and 80's and when you arrived the front of the car, windscreen, grill and headlights was a mass of dead bugs and flies you'd collected. Difficult to clear off they were too, quite often took a good scrub with a brush to get rid.
Now ?
Nothing.
Still getting loads on my car out here in the sticks during Spring and Summer.
None through the Winter though as there's no flies through the cold.
