There are some good young players in the squad. Jenner, Banaras, Cole, Simkin all came through the academy. Lucy Thomas is the England u23 keeper and Jade Pennock has scored a good few coming in off the wing. If we can keep our best ones next season we might challenge.

On another note, didn’t seem to have a knock did he? Like Phillips he rather disappeared in that second half v Italy but obviously he’s exempt from criticism on here ????. They were in my neck of the woods today playing Coventry United at the Butts Arena so we went along.
A 1-0 win which understated our superiority over the bottom team but having not been to a women’s game since well before Covid I was amazed at the standard! Our midfield in particular were really good with Christie Murray looking a cut above the rest.
Up front Jade Pennock was also a star
Good for the future as long as the club can continue financing a women’s team.
