Could it be that Knighthead are very much aiming to invest fast and hard in the close season and rightly or wrongly believe that Eustace simply doesn’t fit the bill as the manager they trust to use the players those resources allow well enough?
We are conditioned that every year is year 1 of a three year plan but consider this.
Leicester and quite potentially Leeds or Southampton go up this season. Entirely likely and quite possibly all three. Luton, Sheff U and one of Burnley/Bournemouth come down. Читать дальше...

Rooney's record in charge of the Washington club stands at 53 games with 26 losses, 13 draws, and 14 wins, including the recent victory over New York City.
That is shit, no matter how you would like to spin it. He was backed by their board and the minimum aim was to achieve the play offs.
I don’t agree.
Looked like the players were falling asleep.
By the standard he set for DC, missing the play offs was a failure. They spent a lot of money to give him the squad he wanted and he got 10 wins 10 draws and 14 defeats.
