It’s so ridiculous, you almost assume it’s done deliberately as a joke. It probably isn’t but if it was written as a piece satirising The Sun and how they suddenly care about a club they’ve never mentioned because a name like Rooney is now involved, you’d say it was brilliant!

As a brief distraction from all things Rooney/ Eustace/ Cook etc.
Just had a very entertaining conversation with a plumber who regaled me with stories about things people had tried to flush down their toilets, only to end up phoning for help.
He got a call from someone in Pershore who had tried to flush a coconut down the bog, and ended up getting it firmly wedged. (had to smash coconut with a crow bar to remove)
