When my lad was small i yearned for him to play football for Blues, i was half decent, his grand dad was better, i used to tell everyone i would be his agent and when Blues asked him to sign a big contract he wouldn't take a signing on fee, we would just agree to give all season ticket holders a free season ticket, just to give something back to the fans. Easy to say when its highly unlikely to happen and as it happens my lad doesn't even like football never mind being any good at it. Читать дальше...
Does anyone know if he will still remain at Blues in light of Jude's move?
Pretty bubbles in the air !!
????????
It’s been a pleasure watching Jude’s first season. He’s demonstrated fabulous talent for a 16/17 year old at times. He’s also had quiet games where , expectedly, his influence has been less noticeable. Once or twice he’s lost his rag and bits of indiscipline but he’ll learn and he’ll do that quickly as he’s a bright lad. At this age he’s exceptional and it’s obvious that he’s gonna become a Rolls Royce of a player. Just sad that it won’t be wearing the shirt of his beloved Blues.
There’s no need to retire the 22 shirt . Читать дальше...

Bad conscience? They pushed him out of the club in January to raise money. He cried. He didn't want to leave. Then he realise there was no other way and worked his mind around. Then he decided he did not want to stay in England at the moment...
True.
Stating that Jude cried - a complete bellend.
Talking about tinpot, let's look at the other end of the scale.
Has anybody seen that video doing the rounds of Bielsa outside Derby, stopping his car to get out and go and give the girl in the wheelchair a big hug and celebrate with her?
Not gonna lie, it filled me up a bit...
Proper behaviour.
Drove past Wast Hills around 5:30 this evening.
Saw four black Range Rovers sweep in quite quickly. Rest of the place looked deserted, well the car park at least.
Perhaps some news tomorrow?
Or certainly, some 'relief'. Those with toilet humour might like these reviews of sugar free Gummi bears.

This is a long post, but I hope you find it interesting. Another season and another escape. While that's good news, the manner of our escape this season feels VERY different. Previous seasons, although things hadn't been great, we did fight and scrap to survive. This year it's like the Read More

Gutted we never got him, but was always a long shot.

I don't think it's a coincidence that's it come out the day after we stay up, if we'd gone down Camp and Trueman may have remained as our keepers, I'm guessing now we're in the Championship we will be getting a new number one, with perhaps Camp staying on for a year as Number 2.
Personally I'd have kept Trueman as number 2 (He is under contract) and let Camp leave (He is out of contract)
Anyway, suspect there will be a lot of movement over the next few weeks.
Problem with judging Trueman (and Gordon, and Boyd Munce, and Bajrami and many more) is that these days there is no competition like the Football Combination that us old lags remember.
A proper reserve-side league with regular fixtures and a bit of competition. Promising youngsters could be tested, possible new signings judged and regular players returning from injury get some useful match time.
If someone like Gordon playing in the stiffs came up against an old pro getting... Читать дальше...
First time poster so hope this is ok.
I’m really questioning why we changed from this style that we played early season and particularly in a six match spell from the Middlesbrough game to the Fulham game. I accept we won three & lost three but it was some of the best football we’ve played in years. I just looked back on the stats and we averaged 20 shots a game and really were unlucky on the games we lost. I really thought we just needed a scoring forward (Gayle?) and a Keeper and we could have challenged top six. Читать дальше...
