The best predictor of the future is the past. Unless we happen to recruit a decent manager like Monk or Rowett we are in for more disappointment. The problem their is our board have the following record when appointing managers:-
Gianfranco Zola - Epic Fail
Harry Redknapp - Epic Fail
Steve Cotterill - Epic Fail
Garry Monk - Success
Pep Clotet - Epic Fail

As I understand it Paul Suen bought the club for the HKSE listing. But why does Mr King fund the club? Are we a status symbol for him or does he love football. I know Mayor recently asked him this exact question. There is a lot of anger directed at the ownership at the moment. This could result in Dong being fired. It could also result in Mr King thinking this is too much hassle now I'm off. Where does that leave us? Selling off anyone else of anyone of value and getting a few free transfers in like Hull?

For 65 minutes we played some decent football, we pressed well, won the ball back and put pressure on them.
This continued after our goal.
It felt like the first few games of the season where we actually showed we had some talented players that could play football.
