Just announced plans today for a 48 storey building at the old Irish Centre. Could this be the end of Digbeth as we know it? As usually when these get built the complaints then roll in about the noise from bars etc

Agree but people were criticised when they did that in Moseley. So not that straight forward.

I think that's a good idea. The PL teams shouldn't be allowed to play in the FL Cup anyway.

If I hear this word (or various incorrect pronunciations) again, I'll go mad.

However I have a question. If a nursery workplace have furloughed staff, can they change their mind and ask you to come in for a day?
Mrs is being paid 80% furlough and has been off for the last 3-4 weeks or whatever it's been. All of a sudden the boss wants everyone back in work on odd days to do some cleaning aka non-essential work?

What have you seen so far?

I've seen:
Every other urinal taped off in motorway service stations - quite a welcome change
Also in a service station, some suits were discussing reorganisation of the eating areas, seats being taken out to create more space and one-way walking lanes putting in.
The booking app for the golf course I'm at has been wiped within the last day or so. It looks like there's going to be some sort of change, i.e. only 2 or 3 balls allowed maybe. There are... Читать дальше...

I can't see any normal season games being plated tbh.

They need to guestimate final points based on average points per game for home and away games. Then maybe have playoffs in closed stadiums.

Interesting article in The Times today that some players are concerned about being forced into playing should the FA decide to allow the PL to continue.

It looks as if the decision to potentially bring football back sooner rather than later has gone above the players heads, without any thought to the people who are potentially most at risk in this situation.
