I keep mine indoors, do that if you've got room as garages can be easy to break into. Alternatively get a Kryptonite ground anchor, the most expensive bike lock you can afford and a garage defender lock, might sound a bit over the top but bikes can be easy pickings. Apart from that cover it up and make sure the chain has a good quality lube like Fenwicks on it.

I’ve just bought my daughter a nice Isla bike off eBay but it’s a bit big (24) So I plan to get her a smaller one. I plan to store the Isla bike for 12 months.
What are the best things I can do to a bike to ensure it remains in good condition for 12 months ? It wasn’t cheap and I’d like to ensure it remains in decent condition.
It will be stored in a detached brick garage mounted on the wall.
