Nets not trading Mikal Bridges

HoopsHype: Atlanta Hawks

Alex Schiffer: Nets’ perspective: League and team sources, who are not permitted to speak publicly about trades, have previously told The Athletic the Nets aren’t interested in trading Mikal Bridges, the prized return in the Kevin Durant trade. They already turned down four first-round picks from the Memphis Grizzlies at the trade deadline for him, so why would this deal change that?

Mario Chalmers: The biggest storylines I’m waiting to see. I want to see with what’s going to happen with Kyrie Irving and I’m curious to see how LeBron James is going to come back next year after what he just tweeted and all the stuff that’s going on, all the little talking heads. Mike Breen: 'Nikola Jokic is the best passing big man of all time'

HoopsHype: Atlanta Hawks

You mentioned Nikola Jokic and how unique he is, and the fact that a lot of casual fans might be seeing him now for the first time. You’ve seen some incredible playmaking centers in your career: Bill Walton, Arvydas Sabonis, Vlade Divac. Is Jokic the best passing big man of all time? Mike Breen: Yes. I’m not very big on lists and rankings and “who’s the greatest of all time?” But in my years of broadcasting, night in and night out, the difficulty of his passing, his court vision for a seven-footer, I don’t think I’ve seen better. But they still gave it an awesome effort,” Abdul-Jabbar said Monday. “I think it’s up to him. Certainly doesn’t have to prove anything. And it’s... Читать дальше...

Pacers offseason primer: Tyrese Haliburton extension, cap space and more

HoopsHype: Atlanta Hawks

The Indiana Pacers finished Year 2 of their mini-rebuild and just missed the postseason for a third consecutive season. Lakers not interested in what Mavericks could offer in a trade for LeBron James

HoopsHype: Atlanta Hawks

If LeBron James were to demand a trade, and the Lakers were to entertain offers, it would take more than a package of, say, Tim Hardaway Jr., Dāvis Bertāns, Josh Green, Jaden Hardy, the No. 10 pick in the 2023 draft and another future first to get a deal done. The Lakers simply aren’t interested in what Dallas could offer in a trade, according to multiple team sources.
