According to Shams Charania, the Celtics, Wizards, and Clippers are closing in on a trade sending Kristaps Porzingis to Boston, Malcolm Brogdon to L.A., and Marcus Morris and draft compensation to Washington.

Chris Paul has been mentioned as a potential target for Philadelphia if he’s rerouted from Washington following the trade from Phoenix, but that likely won’t be the case. The Sixers aren’t expected to pursue the veteran point guard. Similarly, the Sixers aren’t expected to pursue guard Fred VanVleet in free agency.

There have been over half a dozen teams who have inquired about a potential sign-and-trade deal for Grant Williams, league sources told The Athletic. Williams turned down an extension offer around the projected $12.2 million mid-level exception (MLE) before last season and in spite of a tumultuous year in and out of the rotation, there appears to be a market brewing that could push his value beyond the MLE most teams above the cap could offer.

Damian Lillard: I’m under contract for four more years, and I’ll be going on 36 at the end of that, so I’m at least playing that long. I’ll probably say until I’m about 38 or 39.
