Leigh Leopards • Funny ol' forum, i'n' it, Saint?

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Well, the first couple of games at Magic Weekend really shook the apple tree at the top table with all of the top six teams changing position. The third game, with no swapsies in the lower six, could be said to have merely shaken the Applegarth!

Leigh will spend this night in sixth place and, should results go against us tomorrow, could drop to seventh for the next few nights at least.

BUT…

Should we win by a narrow margin tomorrow we would be up to the heady heights of fourth. Читать дальше...

Wigan Warriors • Field back

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Our pack isn’t great when fully fit but taking 5 out has means we are there for the taking.

Havard putting in unreal 65 minute stint had been papering over the cracks.

We’ll get trampled over by saints and wire then be out the cup and about 5th in the league. Depressing.

Our former players are doing well on the scoring front. I see MC is there which I presume is to run the rule on possible signings for next season.

I'd love Chris Kendall to get smacked as hard as Parcell just was and for someone to just stand over him shouting STAND UP! Helmet.

Probably an unpopular view given how some reacted when he signed but I think Ben Blackmore has been a big success. I am not suggesting he is Josh Addo-Carr but agree with China Bull the meters gained particularly out of dummy half impressive. Miles ahead of Jason Qareqare in that particular aspect, perhaps why he is back at Cas.

Agree with that 100%
Ill admit i was one of the critical ones when we signed him but im please hes proved me and other doubters wrong. Читать дальше...

Expect noting more from Kendal just another poor decision calling held while tackle still hadn’t been completed.

Even if it’s not a try they usually allow ptb.

No double movement at all

the tanginoa thing is a curates egg for me, the tanginoa of this season, isnt the tanginoa of last year, or the year before, also 2024 tanginoa definitely wont be the tanginoa of 2021.

But the whole squad is nothing like it was the year before, the same as the players that were awful last year for us are great this year. Doesn't suddenly make him a bad player in a decline.
I'd happily take him.
On another note this new marquee ruling could work well with Toby king... Читать дальше...

I’m also impressed by the “can do” attitude of Leigh and Hull KR, as opposed to Wakefield, and particularly Castleford.
Nice to see things going well for Adrian Lam too.

London Broncos • Off Season Recruitment - By The Month

wire-quin wrote:

The way RL works is you need to hit form at the end of the season. Leeds have been crowned 'champions' from 5th. Mac once said when at Quins that he made a mistake by getting the team to fire from the start and couldn't keep it going all season.

There is a bit of a difference between having your squad peaking for the play offs and only realising half way through the season your squad is too poop to make them.

Warrington Wolves • McGuire

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I'm not buying into this... Yes he definitely did this the first time... But twice....with the same player ..having been warned by the club??!!... if true He's arguably very stupid and needs sacking or alternatively the other player is very manipulative and needs to be brought to task for bringing the game into disrepute
