They're coming here with a strong line-up. Pretty much not far off their full strength team.

If you can't get up for playing against the best then you may as well turn it in.

I think Tag and Fash are gonna rise to the challenge and have big ones. Then Ligi and Big Chris come on to put us on top.

Big game for Truman with Clifford missing. He needs to earn his stripes.

Don't know if we'll get the result but we'll give them a contest.

Yeah i'd say he's off then, if he does indeed go he's not a player i think i'll forget we signed for a long long time. Genuinely never seen anything like it.
Hopefully we can find a quality replacement for him, which i think will be next year as we are struggling to sign someone for this year. Mikaele left about 10 weeks ago now and Powell keeps saying nothing is even close at the minute.

Reports saying even though he's available we're not even considering Matt Lodge. You just never know until things get announced.
Mata'utia is a good utility player, but Ratchford will be that for us next year, so not sure we are trying to get Maa'utia to stay, unless we're not confident on the recruitment front?

So tonights academy game between bulls and rhinos is the first game with the new rules were you cant tackle above the armpit,well theres been 59 penalties with over 50 for high shots not 1 set of 6 completed without a penalty,if rfl bring this in it will kill the game,quite ironically a leeds try was scored with a bulls player knocked out and ref refusing to stop play even though lino flagged him.our lads first taste of it is sunday and guess it will be another pen fest

forget who he has signed. it's how he coaches. he could have better players it wouldn't matter. how he wants to play is ridiculous. it doesn't work but he knows no other way and stubbornly keeps making the same wrong decisions

I can't make my mind up with currie(although I certainly wouldn't have given him THREE years!). We all know about his class and ability, but its his attitude and desire which are sometimes what let him down. Some weeks, such as catalans away chasing down that penalty try kick, he looks like he's well up for it. Yet other weeks, like Salford at home where he let's sneyd score straight past him without making an attempt, he looks like he just can't be bothered. He's a frustrating player, that's for sure. The official statement should be that McGuire has been dismissed.

If we agree to a pay-off deal, then that money will count against this season's Salary Cap.

Abe Froman told us that after McGuire's first suspension, that he signed a document that stipulated any further indiscretions of this type would void his contract with us.

There is bound to be an unofficial golden handshake cash payment for McGuire to sort out his
immediate future I suspect.

Friday nights are a great start to the weekend. I just can't get to them, due to other commitments too far from Wakefield at the worst time to drive.

But whichever brings in the most money is the best option, as that it what puts the best players on the field, and the best start to a weekend is a win.

Not a fan of Thursday though. Preferred the Saturday 6pm Sky slot.

Oh the Fax fans won’t like your comments Highlander. Remember we are constantly told none of our team is good enough to get into the Fax team… this despite spending most of the season above them in the table and both of us being inconsistent.

Either way, I’m never confident of a win over Halifax. This will be a real test and a step up from the teams we’ve played under Lee/Brian. This performance will show whether we are now a top end playoff side or not. Performance not result.

This will be more of a mental battle than ever I think and we need to be 100% confident because if both teams play to their best, Fax stride out comfortable winners.

I have been critical of Grix but this ia where he will earn his corn. He needs to instill ABSOLUTE belief in the whole team and one Grix plan I do fully ascribe to is LF taking the line on more which he is now doing and the lad is class!
