With Atomic on this one; put the game to bed in the first 50 (and mock the bookies' 38 start for York), then foot off the gas. It'll be 'ot and 'orrible in Perpignan all too few days later.

Wakefield Trinity • And so it begins....

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Seems to me that if it is illegal for a defending player to make contact with a ball carrier above the armpit… then it should be illegal for the ball carrier to contact the defender above the armpit… the risks are the same!!! Also if the ball carrier lifts the ball above armpit height… such as to avoid ball steal or score a try, that should be illegal…

But I agree that if the game changes Ike this… then I’m out! (Not that that will affect any decision by the sport)…

Bradford Bulls • Lee Gaskell

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Interesting to see ourselves linked with signing Lee Gaskell. If fit, I would take him back in a heartbeat. Holmes at Fullback, Patton and Gaskell in the Halves and not to mention Walker can come back in at any time, again, if fit. That is not a bad spine at all. Also, when he was at Salford he played a lot at Centre and he has played fullback which does give us some versatility and cover in a few positions.

The issue is, Fev are linked as well and they have made it clear for a while they need a new half back. Читать дальше...

Leeds Rhinos • Gary Hetherington

I'm not convinced we'll be blown away by any recruitment just don't see the players available or that we'd be a quality players first choice. Probably cust being moved on from wigan and ending up at leeds.

Do you want a real conspiracy?

The RFL don't want us on top of the pile anymore, you'll see the same with Saints in a few years mark my words.

Giving us unexperienced match officials that do nothing but hinder our gameplay. Wakefield have been utterly dreadful all season and all of a sudden manage a victory like that? Not having it, something is amiss.

The RFL certainly want a league that is full of equal strength clubs where anyone can beat anyone... Читать дальше...

Hard to see a win but if we can convert 50% of our chances we should post a few points which would make it interesting.

London Broncos • Re: Summer Party

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

My take is we are incapable of getting anything right straight off the bat. Let’s celebrate the fact they’ve realised some kind of summer event is a winner and then hope that at some time we will be in a position to hold said event at our home ground allowing the possibility of community engagement and larger crowds. Because of the fact that we have no access to PL over the summer the idea doesn’t work currently but, who knows, the wheel may turn again in the future.

Forgive the choice of second metaphor.

In fairness, for all we know they may have been. IMG are bringing new depth to the words: low profile and Broncos have issued no public statements on anything except the Gold Lounge for some considerable time.

But lynne is at Wakefield who will always be a struggle punching above their weight

Houghton has "won" man of steel on tackle 52 100% hasn't close to international call up ( ellis was our best player by a country mile that year )

He's no where near roby, clark level

I think it's a big game to bring Litten back in after injury. And that also means changing roles for Hoy. Which means you haven't got your first choice full back as well as your first choice half back.

I wouldn't want to put Sutcliffe in the halves because Hurrell is a dangerous player in the centre and we need Sutcliffe there.

For me the choice has to be a straight swap of Clifford for either McNamara or Lovodua. Out of the two, I think I would prefer to give McNamara a go. Читать дальше...

Used to travel down to Charlton from London Bridge quite a lot, back in the day & used to talk a lot of sense. But, what on earth is he on to suggest relegation should be scrapped just to save Wakefield?

If saving Wakefield is the answer, God knows what the question might be.

I would say probably from Simpson, Smith, Lumb, and Sinfield. Ruan in the forwards looks the most physically ready

A single picture can't show that. It's just a point in time. He may well have dropped it but Hugo dropped it first into Myler's hands and tackled him.

He’ll always be a utility for me and wouldn’t make the 17 when everyone is fit. I’d be 50/50 on him playing on Sunday tbh and would probably start Nsemba right side second row and have Shorrocks either on the bench or not in the 17.
