London Broncos • 1895 semi

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

We’ve got another home draw, against Halifax. Fax are a decent side but home draw is useful. If we have a full squad we have a chance.

I’d love it though if they blocked anyone being relegated from superleague this season if featherstone win promotion.

Though the ultimate would be them losing to Batley in the final

How bad was the Ellis incident, only catching it on the screen it looked more like a football style pushing of the head more than a headbutt, the red must have been warranted as I haven’t seen much defence, was silly after a good start but maybe shows how fired up we were.

There’s one angle that shows from behind that he lunges a bit with his head but then the other angles don’t quite show the same thing.

All to easy to blame Powell for this there were 13 men on the pitch and only 2/3 can hold their head up high after today's game but it was clearly all on Powell he was forcing passes dropping balls and missing tackles...I'm not defending Powell but it's just a cop out to blame the coach for the players inability to Handle the pressure. Infant I'm sure at half time that he told the players more of the same !!

All posts edited, sincere apologies for any offence caused. I think I'll take some time away from here.

I tend not to comment on games until the day after, which gives me time to give a thought out objective response, rather than a reactive one. That saves me regretting what I've posted (usually).

Don't let things get to you, and have a time out before posting.

I'd love to know the thinking behind putting McComb on the bench. Hardly an impact player and a waste of an available fresh forward. Just don't get it.

Point lost or point gained? Frustrating to concede such a late penalty but at least it didn't lose us the game. Barrow beating Widnes did us a favour. Only ourselves to blame now if we don't kick on to secure a top 6 spot.

Warrington Wolves • Too Far - some posters

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Appreciate passions are running high at present after today's awful performance.
But one poster really needs to reel it in after 2 comments made from same keyboard warrior on 2 separate subjects:

1. Non Wire Games - reference to Saints player (Welsby) "I'd love to see have a horrendous injury"
2. Today's game - reference to a Wire player having Cancer.

Bang out of order.

Mods - get this poster off this forum please. You know who I am referring too.

As Willie Peters has said belief is the key and that goes for everyone, staff, players and fans. If you don't believe then the opposition will sniff that out.

You may be right but I don't recall it that way.
The Bosman ruling is about transfer fees.
The rule being that you can't charge a transfer fee for a player who's contract has ended.

What I'm saying is a player on a win bonus scheme would find it hard to get a mortgage. Just as someone who is self employed does. Your accountant has to make a case and it's hard if your income fluctuates. Someone salaried can just say the have a permanent job.

So the players union pushed for this change. Читать дальше...

Hull FC • Re: Season over ?

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Theres still a chance for the 6th position in think . I will be interesting to see how well we go second half of the season after the diabolical collapses of the last couple
Also we still would like to see some of the young fringe players given a go .
Still a bit to squeeze out of this season i hope .

Halifax will be up for it, I have no doubts at all. Last time we had Halifax visit we served up some absolute garbage, so I'm hoping this afternoon I will at least feel like I've paid to watch us compete.

As we've said, it's a big match for both sides even though there is plenty of season left to run.

I've started to do some Ex-Player interviews on the Facebook group and I know not everyone does or likes the FB side of things. A shame for some people not to have a read, especially as a lot will have great memories of the players. So for those that aren't in the group, I've copied and pasted them here for you to have a read as well.
