And so it starts all over again.

Is there any point even asking what the next owners will think about sharing the stadium with us, or will this lot not be around that long either?

It's all irrelevant really. The council won't allow them to kick us out so they're stuck with us. We just have to hope to get a decent share of our profits.

Hull FC • Saints in the cup

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Come on lets get those MKM stands packed again! tickets are discounted for passholders and we havent been at home for weeks.

While Saints have improved their discipline has been questionable at times this season and the fans on their backs might just make a difference.

That Catalan quarter final in 2016 in the sun was when I really started to beleive that year, and this could be something similar. Grab your mates, your family, your next door neighbour and lets get the place rocking! Читать дальше...

Five points above the drop zone (and nine above bottom) as you approach halfway. Much better than last year. Well done.

Well that should have burned up plenty of Hull fuel but if we give them a sniff they'll find the energy.

We need to score first 2nd half, keep it simple, keep up the pressure and wear them down.

I dont think it will have burned up much fuel at all, we hardly pit them under any pressure or moved them around despite all the possession.

Huddersfield Giants • Ken, Are you reading?

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Watson is pulling the wool over your eyes. This season was over before it began when he failed to notice what was blatantly obvious to anyone who was watched rugby for any amount of time, he failed to recruit in the areas we are obviously weak. We have a shocking three quarter line (only Naiqama is anywhere near the required standard), and lack pace in the halves and Watsons answer was to sign more forwards and the slowest outside back in the league (Jake Connor)

As recently as this week,... Читать дальше...

Bradford Bulls • London (H)

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Up next London at home. What changes will we make for this. Looks like Walker will be heading to HKR to cover for Coote. Is Lawrence nearly back? What’s up with Foster as well? Is Segeyaro available? Another must win for me even though London have strengthened with the likes of Butler and Norman.

The Virtual Terrace • Magic Weekend 2024?

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

So there's maybe life in the event yet as seems SKY are keen to keep it and the crowd yesterday was slightly up on 2022 (Toulouse played on Saturday last year though)

For me if this event is to stay then they need to find a way of getting the Saturday crowd above this stubborn 35-40k level it has hit, even if it means handing out free tickets in the local area, having say the bottom tier of StJames' sold out would look miles better.

Also might be better to draw the fixtures after say 2 rounds of the current season... Читать дальше...

Leeds Rhinos • Transfer Talk / Rumour thread V4

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

This whole marquee thing is a farce and we should be scrapping it, rather than increasing it. Back to set salary cap, and that’s it. We have no players who should be marquee, and none moving forward. I’m finding it a bit annoying how some players are so over rated on here, and others given most harsh criticism. Let’s look at what players actually offer, how many minutes they play, rather than just perpetual potential!

Wakefield Trinity • Wakefield Trinity Vs Leigh Leopards Magic Match Thread

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Can’t see an actual match thread so I’ve made on after the kick off

15 minutes in and we’re 0- 10 down due to try’s from Lam & Mulhern

Lams try had some doubt about it due to what looked like an obstruction on Jay Pitts
Charley went close then Leigh put Mulhern over due to a bad read from Ashurst

We don’t seem able to get out of our half without the aid of a penalty or a six again and now the errors are starting to creep in. Hood and now Battye arguing with the Referee... Читать дальше...

Wakefield Trinity • Magic - Who's going?

That first try was surely an obstruction. That second try was horrendous defence. Just waiting for the ball carrier and hesitation. What's wrong with bloody smashing your opponent! Powder puff defence.

Hull FC • Re: Onto Magic Weekend and Warrington.

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

How awful are Leeds getting beat by that crap Castleford team?

It gives us hope for turning this mighty wire team over.

Come on Hull

Trueman and Clifford to take them to the cleaners.

As long as our pack gets on top, then our half backs are the best pairing in the league and destroy them.

If you were offering marquee to a homegrown I'd use it on Newman, not to ensure he doesn't sign elsewhere but more to get as much of his wage off the cap as possible, given his injury record. O'Connor might interest other teams, but would they break the bank for him? I doubt it. Holroyd should get upgraded for sure.

On the flip side we'll no doubt see some of our current highest earners leave at the end of the year. Tetevano, one of the halfbacks, and maybe Bentley. Читать дальше...
