Hull FC • Saints in the cup

Just stick whoever can do the delayed pass to Griffin like Clifford does in the halves, make sure our defence is like it was v Wigan and we'll have a chance

Re Riley Dean, I heard this morning that he's gone off the boil recently and that some Fev fans aren't too disappointed that he's leaving ??

He was recalled by Warrington and was in their squad last weekend.

Warrington Wolves • Recruitment and Retention.

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

The club are currently talking to a lot of players and there representatives. So reading reports that we're looking at Fitzgibbon after Leeds have already offered him a contract is his agent using Moran's spending capability to get the best deal possible for his client. Although I wouldn't rule out Warrington involvement. And I fully expect this to keep happening until we announce signings as we have 1 marquee player, Daryl Clark set to leave, a 3rd marquee being introduced, and potentially up to 3 quota spaces being freed up. Halifax Panthers • Re: Maher gone to Rams

I think we signed him because by grixs’ own admission we had only signed Ryan king by the end of last season, we went through a board change and needed some forwards .

It's in the Recruitment and Retention thread. Good news all round. Getting the core of a long term squad in place.

So it is. Cheers.

I think I made the assumption that all hot ttopics get locked for in-fighting, and didn’t check.

Warrington Wolves • No Currie thread?

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Thought a 3 year deal might generate some discussion. I guess he came at the right price as he’s club-reared. Not sure what sort of dispensation we get on that, but hopefully the early season form can be rekindled combining with Williams.

Comparing Smith with Powell is pure nonsense. Powell experienced SL coach v inexperienced novice coach who did the job with a Sunday league team.

Ill be honest, I still don't rate Powell.

Wigan Warriors • Latics in administration - Lenagan leading bid

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I'd imagine we and Latics won't be playing at the DW for much longer, naming rights should be up on the to do list.
A deal that just covers the stadium's utility bills will be a massive win for both clubs.

Think Thompson has come in for a lot of unwarranted criticism on Facebook. IMO he's shown more commitment than a lot of other players in recent history.

I agree. He's been a very handy pick up and a definite improvement on what we've had in previous years. Will be a shame to lose him if he does head back home.

Hull FC • O/T recording of Old Faithful

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Hi all,
I’m a long-time lurker on here - in fact I’ve just found that my last post was in 2010!
Hope it’s ok to put a request on for something a bit weird. I’m after a video of fans singing Old Faithful to use in a church service. None of mine include the beginning! Anyone have one they could send me, with permission to use (in the church and on our live stream).
Thanks for any help you can offer.

Halifax Panthers • Bradford vs Halifax

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Ding ding round 3 so this week we make the short journey well it is if you live locally to Bradford. They have got a few wins on the bounce under their belt which should give them confidence of turning us over and we have been lets just say hit and miss of late so for me it is a hard one to call. But i will back the fax to get the job done in a tight hard fought game.

Wakefield Trinity • Jay Pitts

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Jay Pitts has been one of the players who has avoided criticism and been quite consistent. He seems well respected amongst his team mates. It made we wonder why Mash selected Ashurst as captain rather than Pitts who had previously captained London. He seems much more vocal than Ashurst and has coaching experience.
