Fair play completely missed that
Reported the other day Kasiano is going nowhere by the club, so i'd say that puts that rumour of Mikaele to bed.......(apparently).
I do like Kasiano though and if he's part of a fit firing squad he causes carnage for opposition, so we'll see what happens

Leigh Leopards • Re: Ava Seumanufagai is an ex-leopard

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Totally agree Sept. The lack of news to stimulate fan engagement and the all important IMG Digital has been once again poor. This silent approach from the club seems to go against all the effort the club put in last season to meet the IMG criteria. Leigh Leopards appears to be sleepwalking whilst all our competitor clubs are engaging fans with positive news particularly of new signings.

Yeah, I imagine it's the best academy lads that have been signed up. Also good to hear he wants a squad of around 34 players, so our scout will be doing some serious miles going down under and around the North of England.

Hull FC • Reach Group Newspapers-the demise of an institution

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Today I read as no doubt some of you did that the Reach media group are to make 450 people redundant nationwide. Having made further enquiries outside the city it appears that the hull daily mail has suffered from this action with a decision made to cease reporting on hull FC and KR’s from the end of the year and to in effect stop reporting club specific Rugby League with no coverage in the paper or on line from the start of next year. .

In a sport that is desperate to increase its media... Читать дальше...

Interestingly Ellis and Powell just said there’s 24 in the stadium next season.

We know of 20 so who are the other 4?

He did say there’s some youth there so it could be a couple of young players.

I would imagine Harvey Smith could be one.

The players will get sorted. They know what we need. Regarding the ridiculous spreadsheet positioning. If Leigh are 12th, they won't be relegated as relegation has been taken away. Anyway, they will increase their points by then with improvements being made in academy/reserves/WRL/social media plus I'm sure we will win another trophy by then.

Wysiwyg, there are no points for academy/reserves/WRL. There are however 1.5 points to be gained from Fandom-Digital. Читать дальше...

Leigh Leopards • Ava Seumanufagai is an ex-leopard

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

As usual the Rugby League press have the story and leighleopards.co.uk remains stony silent. Still not learning from previous mistakes about posting retentions and leavers (with the exception of Kai and Lachlan).

Nothing on the website of interest and "The Derek Beaumont Interview" is nestled behind the firewall which wants to charge a yearly figure not much less than the streaming giant Disney+. Can't help but think they have the pricing all wrong (personally it should be free).

Wakefield Trinity • Re: Duel Reg agreement with Wigan Warriors

Not keen on dual reg period but i guess if anyone then Wigan are probably the best bet as they’ve got some quality young players coming through. I hope we only use it as a last resort though and not at the expense of our own young first team players.

Tanginoa looked pretty impressive for Wakey the first half of the season when he first arrived, but then seemed to be in and out the team on a regular basis for one reason or another and seemed to have regular injury issues. Granted he was played as a forward a number of times which don't think suited his ability. A new club might be a kick start for him but for me he's a bit like Satae in that he has a really great game and is then anonymous for the next 3 or 4 or is injured. Читать дальше...

Not sure I quite get the reference, even though I'm old enough to remember Jimmy Thompson let alone Jonny.

Yes, it will be good from our POV to have a Derby back. Suspect you will be a fair bit stronger than us this year, but we'll see.

I can understand why it wouldn't register for a fev fan but in 88 we had a decent team with Mark Graham and Steve Ella. We won some big games but it all fell apart and we had a long losing run.
Mark Graham went home and left us in the learch. Читать дальше...
