Think he is one of the most unpredictable new signings, not often you get a winger that has become a 2nd row. He's also going to have to brace himself for a hostile reaction from the Rovers fans.

How wrong so many people were. What's more the bloke was a giant in the changing room, not always for the best but more often than not. Wakefield Trinity • Re: New stand drone footage Nov 23

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Looks great but, in hindsight, I think we left some capacity on the table with how high the front row is. Still, they should have an unobstructed view of the game whilst players are warming up, although the barrier to the front looks like it could be right in the eye line

Wakefield Trinity • The unexpected New Away Shirt

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I don't dislike either the home or away and without the platinum membership this time round haven't had to commit to either early doors. I've decided to take the Matty Ashurst testimonial shirt first up. Maybe get one of the others prior to season start but at least I'm sorted for Boxing Day.

Wakefield Trinity • Salford placed in special measures

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Are there some similarities with Everton and the demoted clubs (Leeds, Leicester etc)? I know it's not a salary cap issue, but if Salford would have paid the rent etc then maybe they would have had a far less able team and this gave them a false advantage at avoiding any chance of relegation? Don't get me wrong, I'm very much looking forward to a year in the championship etc but technically it hasn't been a truly level playing field has it?

Think there is a clever pattern emerging in the signings. 2 french men , couple of aussies from same club , 3 lads who played for Scotland.makes it easier to settle in my opinion . Might be wrong maybe just coincidence

Sounds like the people making the signings have been playing Fifa Ultimate Team and are going for 33/33 chemistry

IMO sky are treating RL in much the same way the govt treat the NHS. Give with one hand then take much more with the other. Bit by bit lowering RLs stock so that, eventually, when they admit they don't want it anymore, they can flog it to whoever wants it.

The Virtual Terrace • Mascots vs Kids

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Now the RFL have killed off Magic weekend we need a new idea.

So, a kids team vs a team made up of mascots in their costumes. You could have a tournament every year to deside which kids team gets to play in the following years game. Play it somewhere decent instead of Bellend road and the fans will flock to it.

They do it in america...

IMG: Ok no worries, hey why don't you consider hosting it at Elland road?

RFL: What a brilliant idea, the fans will love it being so close!

....the fans don't love it

Leeds will not be in the top 6. Don't rate their coach at all even though they got to SL GF in 22. I can't see much change from this season so, in no particular order, I'm going for top 6 of Wiggin, Saints, Leigh, HKR, Catalans, Warrington. Salford may possibly squeak in to replace Warrington.

Your first 6 would be a good shout.

A signing like that would have been up there with the like if Phil Blake and Jonathan Davis at centre.
Had that new broke, it would have ruffled a few feathers at the RFU like our link to Will Carling.
Wether Carling was ever serious I don’t know.

Give over. The Davies signing was massive. He won Man of Steel and nearly got us to the league title. Cannot compare to a 2 game stint from Owen Farrell. It would have been Luther Burrell all over again. Читать дальше...
