Wakefield Trinity • Re: Another 8pm Signing

Fills a position we were short in so good luck to the lad. Guess he’ll know Walmsley & Hood from the world cup so should help him settle.

Hull FC • Re: TV Games - Not Hull

Bad day for English rugby league
1. Samoa turned down the RFLs offer to tour in 2024 preferring to play in the Pacific cup instead
2. Salford issued a warning about not having an agreement in place for their ground
3. Cornwall not taking part in the 1895 cup at the request of other clubs due to how far away it is!

Really does feel like rugby league is in a complete mess in this country at the moment

Kind of irrelevant though isn't it? RAPIDO will have been trying to say that younger players don't get a chance at Leeds, which is untrue.

It is relevant they are similar in size and position and Steve's is correct he was already balled off with how he wad treated. But I'm sure Hudson will be much better.

I disagree i think wakey know it's gonna be one of the toughest championships and this decision tells you they are hell bent on going up this season. It's laughable in the way of them being super league rivals for many seasons but wakey won't care about that if they are back in super league next season. We all know you can get stuck in the championship vortex if you don't come straight back up so for me this agreement is a total win win for wakey.

I agree, but let's just remember we haven't really done anything yet.

The bit I did specifically like was Ellis saying he's here for the long haul and if we don't get what we want first time every time he'll keep plugging away at it.

Yes and that’s the important bit because must not underestimate the championship. There are some great clubs striving for what we are and it is not be a foregone conclusion that we will top the league !!!

Every time these clubs get together the proposals are always the sport shrinking further in the pursuit of short term thinking. Why aren't IMG coming up with something better than 'Kick out the expansion teams and play as many games as possible against teams down the road'?

Leeds Rhinos • Boxing Day | Wakefield Trinity

I would imagine Wakey will have a half decent team out on BD and I`m looking forward to seeing Walmsley play for them.
I think he would go well in SL considering his size and his pace and surprised he hasn`t been picked up before.
We will play a nominal 5 or 6 fringe players and there will be a10,000 plus crowd there freezing their cobblers off.
Don`t we split the gate money with Wakefield?

I think it’s been more of a case of Wiganers not being prepared to buy some of the criticism aimed at Wane by Tongan…sorry St Helen’s fans but I’ve said before we all interpret things differently.

I saw those comments and also some others by Woolf and you might not like it but I thought they were a bit condescending. Making a Tonga tour here sound like a favour is awful, when it should be a huge honour for them. I don’t think it’s in that article but he also... Читать дальше...
