I said at the time that the Isa tackle was the best I'd seen since TL on Fasavalu. The charge was a joke as they put it down to "releasing the player" in the final split second of the tackle. He must have been all of 6 inches off the ground when that happened. How there is even the remotest possibility of injury from that is bordering on the farcical.

He might have hurt his feelings

I think this ll be a tough game , it’s been a long time since we won away at London and with our erratic form a loss would be of no surprise.

Yeah it looks better on replay, doesn't it? What was clear was that we were a team with a plan after the red card, and Wire had no composure and no plan.

Does this mean we had a plan B ,who would have thought it !

Bradford Bulls • Re: Lee Gaskell

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Just seen the interview with Gaskell. If he really means what he says (every player chats a bit on the joining interview). Our team could be:

Holmes
Blackmore
Arundel
Gill
Foggin-Johnston
Gaskell
Patton
Baldwinson
Segeyaro
Lawrence
England
Butler
Thompson

Lilley
Scurr
Rodgers
Appo

I’m thinking that’s a top 3 side. That’s without Flanagan, Wallace, Foster, Johnson etc.

Or Walker coming back as and when he’s not required at Hull KR. Читать дальше...

Leeds Rhinos • Re: Where do we go from here

To be fair to McDermott, when you've been trained as a marine and been shot at, 80 minutes of playing pro rugby league probably feels quite recreational.

Halifax Panthers • 1895 semi final

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Looks that Fax dodged a bullet and got the easier part of the draw, Should Fax win that and then not get humiliated at Wembley it will only paper over the obvious cracks that have opened up for all to see this season.
Hoping for a successful campaign, but at what cost?

Apparently there's a new signing coming at the end of June. No idea who.

Good news. Our current MO is to sign either recent players who have moved to other clubs but not nailed down a place or Aussies who are on holiday at the end of the French season. I can’t think of anyone who fits the bill past player wise that we would want to recruit Adebiyi perhaps - he’s been injured quite a lot. Is he fit. Wouldn’t surprise me if Boafo came back at some stage but not sure it would be mid season. Читать дальше...

I think we can narrow it down to either a ground in London or a ground somewhere not in London but in the South of England. What more can we ask for?

Hull FC • On to Saints in the League

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I went to me first game at KC for 13 years and the atmosphere was excellent
The fans really got behind the team !!!

Griffin - what a clown and lost us the game simple as that

This week v Saints - this time I see a
massive loss

2nd half defence - I watched the Saints player 10m out run at Savelio and it was as plain as day he’d score - Savelio was like soft cheese
It was beyond easy

Litten has no defence ability head on - the Saints player literally walked over... Читать дальше...

I don't think anyone has ever said he's as good as Jason Smith, or Albert Kelly, but with an alarming dearth of talent in the pool, at the moment I'd doubt we can recruit anyone as good as, or better than, Jake Clifford.

That's my point he is replaceable

Probs would have about 6 or 7 half backs are better in super league let alone nrl

Always hidden gems in nrl if he does go

Totally with you Fez, even with last years debacle there hasn't been a single secind that I've pined for the return of Steve Price. He took us further down the path to despair IMO, maintaining the knock out game victories hoodoo over saints is the only real positive.

Warrington Wolves • Re: Fitzpatrick

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Its always difficult to critique Fitzpatrick, because I don't think anyone is 100% sure what is role actually is, especially with regards to the playing squad side of things.

Personally, my main gripe with him is what exactly are his qualifications for such a (supposedly) important role as the one he has at Warrington RLFC, seeing as he previously had zero connection with the club - I can always see how an ex Wire player could end up in a position like his, but someone who wasn't even a top quality player anywhere else?
