Not many careers where offered a job in Widnes or in London you’d go for the former. Not sure what this says about him, us or RL in general. Only know this is shaping up to be a season of modest improvement. Really modest improvement.
In absolute fairness, if Leigh stay up, which looks likely, he may be moving on. In which case he’ll want to be in the shop window. He’s probably the type of player we should sign up but if the deal isn’t right or PT work is more plentiful in mid table Widnes or he is half way through a degree at a Lancs based college, then it makes some sense to avoid bottom third of table London. Happy days. When is the next World Cup? I hear it’s a great opportunity to sign up players!?!!!
