Looks like Andre Savelio being offered out to other clubs. In his Saints and Wire days he was done player. Surely Wigan will be considering him. Is he federation trained?

With Warrington Town gaining promotion, is is worth going the way of Hull, Wigan, Leigh? and Hudds and sharing our stadium with them, for an agreeable fee of course.
They will have some tasty fixtures and realistically, Cantilever park is inadequate.
Obviously it brings up the problem of wear to the pitch surface.
Would there be the same level of animosity between the two sides as exists in Wigan.
As predicted, Watson's insistence on having far too many forwards is now leading inevitably to some looking elsewhere due to not having enough gametime. Trout was shaping up to be a great player and actually scores a lot of tries near the line. Seb is going great this year, but i would probably have played Trout over him as Seb is overseas and much older.
He wont be the last out of the door as Watsons ridiculously imbalanced recruitment takes its toll. It's never the players you want to go that you lose... Читать дальше...

Well, Wire are at least promoting the game using Wakefield's most (in)famous business.
Onto the pitch, don't think the outcome is in doubt, hopefully the scoreline will be respectable with Trinity reaching the dizzying heights of scoring more than 6 points.

So who is going up the toon this sunday. I do enjoy the trip up there and i have to say the people i have come across there are some of the most friendly people you could meet. As for the game will there be some changes from the Bradford game. Salty as been carry a groin injury for some time and had to come off in our last game and kavanagh as been troubled by a knee problem for some time and finally should we give Louis a rest after his involvement with France at the weekend. Score wise i will go for a big Panthers win 10-40. Читать дальше...

There is a few on that list who i wouldn't mind us having a go at signing. Some younger players not getting much first team action at the moment and some coming to the end of there time in super league who could do a short term job for us. Based on our current squad i would be focusing on centres and props. I would be looking to move some of our middles on for next year even if they are contracted for next season and the main reason for that is to try and improve our starts to the season which for me is holding us back. So what have they been promoted to?

I thought that too, and I've often wondered what sort of 'fiddle factor' could be applied to make the figures roughly comparable.

Signing of Gale noted but I think an experienced SL coach is also needed to steer the ship off the field and try to get Trinity re-building for the future even if it’s too late for this season.
10 losses on the bounce and Applegarth is still in the chair along with Ford. He lost a lot of credibility with me when he backed Lineham and didn’t give Murphy the 5 shirt.

We’ve been spreading the butter too thin for a while , so now we have dry toast . I was looking at where the players come from who made up the Great Britain sides of the 90s and the England sides of the last few years , still the same places but unfortunately the rfl will relentlessly carry on making the same mistakes.

As teams start and get knocked out of the playoffs in the French Elite 1 competion there may well just be a couple of new players heading our way at some point during this run of games ......

On Mitch, if he needs a new ACL as has been mentioned by Smith then we shouldn't renew his deal.
Adam Doueihi is going through a similar process and the recovery time is over 12 months

Was anyone else underwhelmed by the international on Saturday. Especially the crowd. Many people talk about how fantastic this sport is (and it is) but this was our National team playing and the supporters of Rugby League couldn’t fill a 15k stadium. Behind one set of posts wasn’t even open. The England women’s Rugby Union game attracted over 58k to that game.
