Last time Hull went pop, they moved into a brand new state of the art facility 3 or 4 years later and won the cup a couple of years after that. Death isn’t always fatal for sports clubs. It’s rarely quite that immediately beneficial, admittedly.

We really struggled with injuries that year.
We used 48 players in total.

And we only win 7 all season. 5 of which was when Wally was here.
That next season was awful to watch.

When you've been a cynical old Wire fan for a long time you start to realise that when you sign a player with red flags it is almost always a bad idea. I can only think of two who worked out.
