I can't see Houghton going round again, but if he is rotated like he has been the last few weeks, then I think I would be ok with it

I could have used longer and more convoluted words like yourself but lets be honest the majority of our fans would not understand them, they are stupid enough to be so far up Carter's booty that all you can see is their toes so understanding words and phrases such as "It offers no alternative hypothesis or strategy and speaks to a destructive and anarchistic nature" is going to be far beyond them.

In terms of offering a Hypothesis, I hypothesize that through... Читать дальше...

It makes you wonder.

We’ve had massive player turnover for a long time. From the 2017 GF team we have no players still at the club.
From 2017 to 2020 c cup final team, only 3 players were in both.
From 2020 to now we have 5 players left including Donaldson who will go at end of season.
Plus loads of others have come and gone including many young prospects.

Leigh Leopards • Re: Poor crowd

The opportunity for Leigh to 'grow' their brand will be the last game of the season v Wigan. Would be even better if we had still something to play for.

I would play it at Bolton. It would generate a great crowd and would tap into outer areas like Westhoughton, Horwich, Daisy Hill, Bents, Bongs and a huge Town like Bolton itself.

Wigan would bring double to Bolton for sure !

I think the club will be disappointed if it thinks it will suddenly have that 500-600K rolling in next season, it will be a gradual increase. I expect that long term the ground can generate that kind of money but it won't happen straight away, like any other business it will take time to build up clients and build a reputation as somewhere to go. Companies and people already have there 'go to' places for events who will offer incentives to stay with them and to get... Читать дальше...

Poor recruitment, poor head coach choice and sticking with him , 12 straight loses and rooted at the foot of the table as a result of squad penny pinching.

What i don't get is Carter has sacked coaches for less. Why is this time so different? Yes the squad isn't great but i'm convinced it's better than 6 points a game.

Think Wakefield are done, any team that is relying on Luke Gale being their saviour deserves to go down.

Wakefield Trinity • It's time now

I totally understand what our board are saying about our finances and our situation. I'm not getting hysterical or personal about John or Michael or even Mark Applegarth. But I thought I saw a very meek and, at times casual acceptance of our performance tonight. I'd usually be there but had a bad back so watched on TV, which was certainly a different view of what is going on. TV shots of Applegarth and Gale, casually having bants...I guess a moment can mislead but some of it wasn't a good look. More of the vacuous generalisms from Applegarth. Читать дальше...

Lino playing very much like a stand off at the moment and forgetting about his job at half back. Personally I think Gale at 7 and Lino at 6 could work but Smith definitely earning the shirt at the moment so Gale/Smith is what he’ll probably go with.

Having an owner who has a connection to the area is far better. The problem with a lot of foreign owners is that they see the premier league on TV and think every club is like that.

Geographically, Latics are stuffed - they will never compete for support with the bigger clubs that surround them, and even in the premier league years, they still had a relatively small following. As shown, even trying to stay in the 2nd tier is bankrupting them.

You're asking for a lot there. Our class of 2016 and 17 couldn't even do that. And that was a champion team. Of course, I wish you luck on your investment.

I came away tonight thinking there was no shortage of effort from any player. The quality just isn’t there.

I have been trying so hard to be positive but as that game finished I think we should possibly consider building early for a strong championship squad.

We have a few assets that some teams would be interested in. Whitbread was immense today, that guy is head and shoulders the best forward on the park.

I hate to say it but should we put... Читать дальше...

Leeds Rhinos • Where do we go from here

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Just to be clear I am not calling for RS head but I cannot work out this passive defence philosophy. We oncede metres and metres of ground then expect to score from 70, 80 or ninety metres out. How is that ever going to work against any half decent side? A good coach should be able to change tatic when something is not working. If we play the same way next season, when RS has the squad he wants, then it is time for him to go.
And I agree the six again is a lousy rule. It is just being exploited. Читать дальше...
