Elliott did a great job in putting all the foundations in place and winning the cup for the first time in over 50 years. Noble took it on and won more than any other coach in the club's history. You can't argue with that record.

Thought Mason looked very good. Definitely a class above your average championship prop.

I looked at WireTV and thought it wasn’t worth the £6 per month but I just do the 1.99 24 hour access which works well - I have Sky so I use it for the non Sky games.

Given how much we’re on Sky / C4 it works out better value than the full membership.

I think what this season is showing so far is that despite the open nature of it, the quality is low. Warrington looked to be the real deal this season early on then were comfortably beaten by Wigan and then Saints with a number of players missing.

Wigan then looked to be the team to beat and they have since had a couple of defeats on the bounce and that capitulation against Leeds.

Meanwhile we have been largely poor all season bar the Warrington game yet we win our game in hand and we are only 2 points behind Wigan. Читать дальше...

I thought this too and I think some of it is game planning. We seem to favour going sideways and dropping the ball off to Macani on kick reception, in the hope he can use his speed and acceleration to get round the opposition. I would like to see all of our back three go a little more direct at times though, Alex and Paul aren't exactly small bodies
