Warrington Wolves • WIRE YED Prediction Competition Wigan Away

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Here we go again another Wigan week as we head over to the Dee Dubya to take on a Wigan team probably smarting from their unexpected defeat to Wakefield, whilst we might hopefully and conversely be encouraged by our close call against Saints.

Talking of close calls, with most teams dropping a point or two a win will be welcome this weekend and keep the Victors in the play off bunch, so will it be Peet or Powell in Meldrew mode at the final whistle .

You decide and Good Luck

Fundraising in Memory of Rycroft

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Many of you will know Andrew Foster (af to forum users), a long-standing member of our community and respected voice in the world of rugby league. After a battle against a rare disease called ‘Schwachman Diamond Syndrome’, Rycroft, Andrew and his partner Catherine’s 16-month-old son, lost his brave fight.

A fundraising site has been set up to raise money for three organisations who helped with his fight, Great Ormond Street Hospital (Fox Ward), Colchester Hospital (Children's Ward), and SDS UK. Читать дальше...

Totally agree, particularly with the amount of changes for next season.

Not only building for the future but I also think Litten is now a better fullback based on both their performances at fullback this season.

Home game to Cas this Saturday afternoon.

They're on the way to getting in to desperation terms. Although maybe we're getting them at the right time.

They're the out of form team in the league. Hopefully we'll have no trouble putting them away.

Shaul or Litten to replace Hoy?

Sutcliffe and Andre possibilities to return.

Does Smith draft in a youngster into the back row or move one of our three centres there (presuming Sutcliffe returns)? Or does he stick with Fash there? Читать дальше...

Why are there so many internal (?) trolls on this site? Trying to get IMG's social media points up? You're 'avin' a CameLeopard. See what Chatty Bongser did there?

Chester gets “diss” because he was a terrible Coach, who only kept his job because he was protected by his golf buddy. Читать дальше...

Whether he is a decent man or not is not the point plenty of decent people lose their jobs and have to find new employment. I would ask you did you go to the match on sunday and if so what would be your answer to what was served up. Читать дальше...

With our current defensive form and with the amount of key players KR have missing I'm confident we can make up for the poor performance against KR earlier in the year. Especially with better weather, we should have too much for them.

The forecast is diabolical. A lot can change between now and then however....

Yeah I get it's probably the right decision overall. But I loved him as an FC player.

Before his awful injury, ironically against Saints, he was a devastating centre and made great yards out of back field. When he came back, he was a bit out of condition, but this year has been phenomenal in the back row,; his display against Warrington was superb. Sad he's gone , but there is a change happening and maybe he wasn't they type who would buy into it. I... Читать дальше...

As I understand it, he has given £500k in sponsorship, purely to help with the end of season 'Great Escape'.
Not reliant on the takeover.

That money has been used to bring in the likes of Griffin and the French lads... Читать дальше...

Adrian Lam is an absolute brilliant coach at Leigh. On paper you would expect mid-table but with Lam in charge they're on fire and anything is possible. I can see us in 1 final this season.

Re: Wiggin I think they have some exceptional young talent in the forwards and it bodes well for the future. I also think Wiggin need a much better, more consistent goalkicker. Harry Smith is a very good player but I would definitely be looking for someone else to takeover goalkicking. Читать дальше...

I imagine Roberts would have come on at centre, with Martin moving into the pack or Johnson off, Myler 6, Handley 1, Macdonald to the wing.

Sometimes when your defensive edges are working well as a unit it is risky to make these changes, then going down to 12 players would effect this too. Im sure they had a plan to bring him on but sometimes it just isnt worth it.

Leave them to it I guess. When there’s something to announce it will be. As it stands we are seeing dramatic improvement under current ownership. So long as that continues then I’ll be a happy fan for now.
