Barrow Grab Championship Lifeline By Beating the Bulls
It was #RememberRycroft night at Odsal, a cause close to our hearts at RLFANS, as the Bradford Bulls took on the Barrow Raiders in a fifth against thirteenth battle which could see the visitors out of the relegation places if they could pull off a win against a Bulls side who were looking to consolidate in the play-off places.

Donations were still open with JustGiving as a fabulous fundraising effort for three great charities... Читать дальше...

Wane probably doesn't want the job, and the only 3 people I can recall from Australia are Cooper Cronk, Mal Meninga and the lovely Ms. Sampson.

The only thing I DONT want, is someone with Wire connectors. "Oh, so'n'so knows the club, he'll... Читать дальше...

Who could blame them?

But that's fine - they can buy themselves out if they like. Oh do they not fancy that?

What about me and thee. The crowd behind the team, following the 'better' performances, certainly will help the cause.
Compare the current, with earlier in the season, in terms of noise etc

It's never only one thing.

Dave's arrival is absolutely the spark that started the fire but there are more influences than that.

Gale clearly has an impact on and off the field. You can tell how much he's into it when you watch the latest winning song video compared to the first. He is very much a leader with enthusiasm.

We are running shapes and setting game strategies that are working now. That isn't Dave. He's just giving the enthusiasm to get behind it. Читать дальше...

We are capable of going there and getting the result, what the final score will be could be anyone's guess. The points difference column is something that we have spoken about frequently, when a side amasses a 60 point cushion against the bottom team then stupidly ships 30 points in the last quarter then it speaks volumes.

We are capable of cementing third spot and giving Hunslet a proper game at theirs unlike the poo show from weeks ago, that's if Hunslet win at Rochdale and Workington (not as easy at it looks IMO) all to play for... Читать дальше...

Leeds Rhinos • Have Leeds lost hunger, as a club?

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I mean this in a more abstract sense. Obviously I know the players want to win, fans want to win. I’m not questioning their desire.

But, it feels like now ‘the club’ is content to plod along and try to be competitive. But it doesn’t feel like there’s any real drive, a ruthless desire, to get back to the very top. Win grand finals, titles.

Rugby league, in this country at least, isn’t exactly awash with quality teams. Well-resourced clubs like Leeds need to be pushing HARD to set standards and WIN titles. Читать дальше...

Wigan Warriors • Squad for Leigh

Give Hill more minutes now we have Dupree. I’d rather invest in his development than Byrne’s who has never shown any form of dominance of a number of games in his career. He should be the next out of the door like Partington was.

I would hope that the board would at the very least speak to Powell to see if he is interested in the job and take it from there. And what i find odd is whenever the discussion on here is about if Grix should go or not and he as decided to leave off his own back we get 31 pages and counting where was this interest in any other topic about the club. He has not been pushed out he has chosen to go despite being offered a new long term deal so i don't get where this blame game is coming from. It is a... Читать дальше...

We were 18-6 ahead against a top notch opposition. Felt like a lost point rather than one won.

Three things stood out

1. The size and noise of the crowd
New stadium, positive vibes

2. The desire of the Wire side
Nat Wood, Mark Hilton, Gary Hulse, Dean Gaskell etc and yet another virtuoso performance by Lee Briers. Читать дальше...

Only in your opinion mate. Given that no two examples can be, by definition, exactly the same I reckon they stand comparison. There are enough similarities to show principle. I would similarly argue that your points of difference are purely pedantic rather than having any real insight. It's all a matter of opinion.

Wakefield Trinity • Hull FC Away this week

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Well the good news is we have no disciplinary cases this week.
Selection choices for Mark could be a problem after the Warrington game. Plenty on here have criticised him for changing a winning side, so what does he do now? Stick with the team that demolished Warrington or bring in the likes of Dagger, Kaye, Whitbread, anyone returning from injury.
Remember after the Hull game, teams get a 2 week break due to CC weekend, this’ll give Trinity and Cas extra time to get fresh bodies back in contention for an extremely crucial game. Читать дальше...
