experienced halfback Adam Clune had the ball on a string once again with three try assists, two linebreak assists to go with his 126 running metres.

Stop it, just setting me up for disappointment.

Yes, the dream ticket of Ray French & Jonathan Davies would be mouth-watering.

So you'd be happy with another 3 or so years of McDermott, o Conor, Stuart Pyke, bill Arthur, Phil Clarke, Jon wilkin etc? (Not saying french and Davies are the answer)

Very strange move.

I know Powell tried to get him at Cas but I don’t see how he improves Wire.

I hope he is on a five year contract.

One said that a barometer of a good signing should always be 'Would Saints sign him?' and he says not and therefore it tells you everything.

So, sadly people, that's now 4 signings for next season and all 4 are rubbish.

May as well pack up and concentrate on other things in life.

At least we know early

Mikaele himself really didn't want to go home, his partner did. I wondered if we'd try and rope him back for the last couple of months, it is a little desperate but seeing as he isn't getting in the Titans side it's a question worth asking. Can't see Ese'ese coming now for the reason stated above though he may feel he can improve his game under Powell rather than that clueless Bennett fella.

Anything could happen. Good win, bad loss, 1970s style disaster movie scenario. What a life!

I hate to say this out loud, but two of those were away. We’ve flipped from being poor at home last year to being flaky away. Thankfully our home form is still pretty solid.

Yesterdays win was only our third win on the road all year. Our home form is much improved but we are dreadfully inconsistent away.

Wakefield Trinity • Re: Kevin Proctor Staying On

PT I can't quote your comment for some reason, but you must have been seeing something different in Proctor to suggest Crowther's skill level is much lower. Which skills are you referring to? In terms of yardage, they're the same player with neither making enough meters (although I would imagine JC will put his hand up much more than KP does).

JC offers more as he can cover dummy half, which Proctor clearly could not as it would take him twenty minutes to stand up straight after passing the ball. Читать дальше...

London Broncos • 1895 Semi Final

Big game this. Could go either way. I’ve been in touch with train unions and they have agreed to have a strike on that day xxxking up everyone’s travel plans. So nice hour and a half minimum for me on North and South Circular. Hopefully won’t fall through a hole in the floor of the main stand when I get there. COYB.

Warrington Wolves • Recruitment rumours and links

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I have to admit that I initially thought there was no rush to replace Mikeale and we should bide our time to get the right player.
At the start of the season we were missing Philbin for the first 5/6 games recovering from injury, Dudson for the first 3/4 games after his sending off in his last game against Catalan and McGuire so I thought we would be ok.

With hindsight we could have done a bit more during that 8 game run to give Thomas and Green a bit more exposure. I might be wrong but... Читать дальше...

There is a large digital clock in the East Stand - the stand that Leeds were attacking towards in the second half. They knew how long was left. It appeared they gambled on running the clock down as much as possible to prevent KR from counter attacking.

They must have been sat with me in there which is why I couldn't see it. You should have had Brad Dwyer still at Headingly so he could miss-kick a poxy, flapper like against Cas a few years back.
