My initial message actually was half constructive. You said about Tony’s rebuild, but who has he actually let go? It’s on record he wanted to keep satae, the same can be said about swift and Clifford, but they’ve all left on their own accord? Shauls one that probably will be shown the door, but I don’t think there’s a single SL club that would have kept him. On top of the players leaving, you’ve only brought in ashworth and tindall, who are downgrades on what’s going out. Читать дальше...

You mean he didn’t criticise a tackling technique that injured 4 players in the same game before the tackling technique injured 4 players in the same game? Geez you’re right, that is strange

Continue to tackle around the legs? Yes, I'm sure he will.

I feel like I'm living in a parallel universe. I didn't think he did anything wrong at the game on Saturday, I didn't see anything to change my mind re-watching the game on Sunday and I still don't see anything wrong with it now despite the hysteria.

What's not to like about this. Singleton has been a massive dud and in his place we've got a 23 year old England international.

BTW - Are you insinuating that Asiata has deliberately gone out to injure a player? If so, that's mental.
Wellens job is on the line with the prospect of no silverware, and for me he's brought the game into disrepute.

No I’m not insinuating anything. Читать дальше...

Doncaster RLFC • Re: Horne

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

In a 20 game season if a club lost two of their 10 home games and every other away game ...the coach wold have a record of 65%.
That is a good steady performance over the season....perfectly achievable though for a good side.
Horne posts stats of clubs finishing 3rd or 4th overall....and so it has proved....also-rans.
Close also-rans though, but nobody remembers them....unless it's us.

The skill level was so much higher then. Even something as simple as passing from dummy half. Jon Clarke in particular could fire a pass off the floor and go 20 yards and get straight into Briers’ hands in a split second.

Just watch how many first receivers have to take the ball above their shoulders or round their knees in our next game. I often wondered by this basic skill seems to have waned.
