The good thing stated in the article was that we lacked speed in the squad. I don’t know if this was his observation or Powell but either way they are correct.

I see the club has a link to the TO site for match tickets for Saturday. From what I can see only East and West stands open with ends closed. Any one got an idea which side Bulls will congregate.

As you say I think some form of fan support in terms of a trust etc could be a good way to help the club move forward. If say 3000 fans joined and paid a fiver a week that would be significant amount of income in to the club. Whether that would mean any sort of Supporters Trust would require some stake in the club and all the legals required would be worth it or whether AP would be happy for such who knows.
Admirable sentiment, though what confidence would... Читать дальше...
I think it will be a very long time before there are 12 cat A clubs. Fev certainly aren't. Not sure about Huddersfield or Salford either.
And winning championship literally gets you 0.1 less points than the bottom team in SL. If you win GF you get an extra 0.25 so not a winning score considering your engagement score will be lower.
Or Leigh HKR are a high Cat B and are probably closets to making A grade out of the B's next being Hudds in SL (Wigan/Saints/Leeds/Warrington/Hull/Catalan... Читать дальше...
Good to see we’ve got right on this and not left it to chance. Hopefully we’ve taken same approach with Norman who I think has been even better. Sigh?
Who knows, my assumption would be we have offered a deal, however he may feel he can get something better elsewhere. He would walk into the Toulouse or Wakey starting 17. The tone of the article seems to be he is on the look out for something else, so he might have already told the club he's going. Probably... Читать дальше...
Can't really begrudge the guy if he thinks he can still do it a higher level/wants to be in a full time environment. Not sure I see many SL teams wanting to use up a quota spot, but I guess we will see.
what a difference between ambitious clubs like leeds and our lot still moaning about covid repayments.we still havent signed anyone to really get anyone excited about next season.
Disagree, pretty excited about Walker and Ese'ese.
Pele, Tindall and Okunbor have potential too.
If (and its a big if) we can sign a decent halfback and backrower, along with Smith and Ashworth I think we will have done pretty well.
Croft to Leeds being reported - personally I hope he goes. I think SL needs its biggest clubs to be as strong as they can be - if Leeds, Warrington and Hull can pick up their game and get themselves in the mix you have a very interesting competition.
As for Salford, who knows what the future holds for them.
Controversial opinion, but I'd rather have Croft than Thompson. Also & whilst I love him as player, I'd be happy to see Field mode on to accommodate Croft. Читать дальше...
I'm too young (not very often do I get to say that!) to have seen him or his teams play live but I'm very proud to know that Hull and the game of rugby league is and always has been diverse enough to accept all talents regardless of their origins.

He really is an atrocious half back. I've absolutely NO idea what he offers. His supposed strength is his kicking which is garbage, he's an alleged leader who went hiding when it was his time to shine, was shown up by a 5ft 3ins 18 year old and his defence is extremely iffy.
If all we wanted was a steady-eddy foil for Williams then a traffic cone would be as useful and off-quota.

Wasn't their talk of a forward pass detector in the ball? https://edition.cnn.com/2022/04/27/spor ... index.html
With today's digital image processing power it is perfectly possible to detect, after the event, if the ball went forward with reference to the player at the point of passing.
I'm not sure (about much admittedly these days) but wasn't there always an argument/issue about momentum, the point of release and relative forward travel from the... Читать дальше...
The fuss will only arise when a Cat B team wins the championship but is prevented from coming up because a Cat A club finishes bottom (I think that's how it works). So, to get promotion, you have to win, but also get lucky with timing.
In the top flight, probably only really Cas who will be Cat B, and whoever goes up this year.

Donaldson almost always plays at prop. Goudemand has played 40 games in the last two years, of which at most 5 were not at prop. That makes them both props.
On that basis does this make Martin a centre? For me no, he`s a second rower.

Well it's over and out for the Wire this year, but that's not the end of the road for this season's top four on the road to Old Trafford. Which two will make it to the big time under the floodlights?
You decide and Good Luck

I'm not privvy to more information about the club's business than any other normal supporter. In my opinion, when a business loses income streams it needs to diversify / reduce spending to survive. This would be very painful for a rugby league club as it is impossible to diversify and reduced spending will almost certainly result in reduced performance resulting in further reductions in income. It's a downward spiral. The only way to halt the demise is for a... Читать дальше...
