Wakefield Trinity • Points re set button.

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

The crazy thing about moving to the decision being based on things other than just game play is that a team could conceivably win both the grand final and challenge cup, and still be dropped down into the championship for the next season because they didn't get enough clicks on their website and they haven't put LED signs around the ground meaning there were more teams who graded above them

Good point about the appeal process too. It would be possible for two or more clubs to be graded on exactly the same points... Читать дальше...

No the floodlights were definitely condemned by the council. In fact it was within a few days of us getting back the ground that they demanded that, good on em eh. We have had quite a few issues to contend with over the years ground wise. Yet Cas just seemed to carry on as normal. I remember not long ago their floodlights catching fire when we played them and yet they are still in use.

Not now.Doesnt matter who we sign because fans will seemingly be happy but If we had targeted Whitbread before Pele was announced fans most fans would have been happy to see him here

Leeds Rhinos • IN 2024 | Paul Momirovski - Expires: 2025

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Interesting decision for Rohan to make. My personal opinion would be Newman/Handley and Mom/Fus. This is based on Newman more likely to break a line and Handley has always been good in support. Whereas Mom more likely to draw a defender and release the winger which would be better for Fus. But hey, nice to be in this position… just hope the back five can stay fit long enough to string some proper games together.

I can understand your comments about Williams and agree to an extent, but as he's got the England shirt perhaps it represents where our league is currently compared to past years.

I think rugby league is obsessed with the athleticism, it’s not just Williams. The creativity is left out, as a rule, in the selection of juniors. Players can pass off both hands, can run, fend and step. Fine. But the genuine creativity is just phased out.

Leeds Rhinos • Championship Playoffs

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I think it would be an ideal time for the RFL to expand to 14 and bring both finalists up. If they are ever going to do it, now would be the ideal opportunity to strike whilst the iron is hot and there are two targeted expansion clubs ready for the leap.

Sadly, it is way too late in the year to pull that switcharoo though.

Don't be spreading positivity around here, it'll never catch on!

I mean, remember how the semi final was going to be "Embarrassing" for the club, just like last years semi against Leeds, and it ended up with both semi finals being the higher attendance and Wigan fans more than doubling and in The Leeds game nearly trebling the away following?

We need more unfounded doom mongering

I saw on Fb a post advising of 'an evening with Jonathan Davies, Mike Nicholas and Kevin Ellis' on Saturday or Saturday week.
I didn't know about this.
Not seen it advertised and not mentioned here.
Ok - it's £30 but irrespective of that I thought I'd have seen a lot more promotion than it's recieved.

Catlalans are the one expansion team the RFL has got right.

They are not completely an expansion team as RL was played in Perpignan for decades, but they definately got the branding spot on. The colours and Dragon are great and it gets a whole region (and wannabe republic) behind them.

The 3 years of no relegation worked well, they got to a CC final in their 2nd year. So its baffling why that policy was abaondoned but thats RL for you...

Most teams attack left to right due to the relative ease of passing that way. In that case you’d want your best defenders on your right, meaning Mom is 3 & Harry is 4.

Warrington Wolves • WIRE YED Prediction Competition Grand Final

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I'm a bit torn to be honest as I wanted us to break the Grand Final cycle and add our name to the Winners List. However, we've been that undeserving in recent times that I wouldn't be too disappointed with a Catalans victory.. I just hope that it's a great game and may the best team win......who will that be?

You decide and Good Luck and it's Triple points on offer
