Remember Ryan Tongia? That was an odd signing.

Just read his Wiki, still only 33!

I just hope King hasn't been pulling his tripe in the faint hope of a contract at Wigan. The proof of his effort & commitment, or lack off , will shine in the 2024 season.

I'm sure he will come back with a clean slate and give us a fresh go, I could imagine he would get a bit disenfranchised if the new coaching setup doesn't get the mood around the camp right. He's had a year in a dressing room full of winners, our coach was a winner as a player so... Читать дальше...

London Broncos • Re: Toulouse

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

2024 is simply HUGE for the club.
On the park, they must be competitive
Off the park, anything below 3k gates is criminal and we must not rely on expat northerners and visiting fans.aome serious coin needs to be spent and some sincere marketing, like a visitors guide needs to be done now....let the rest of SL know about how to get to the cherry red and what to expect. Get bands booked, bouncy castles and food carts arranged NOW and sort the fecking shirt out before Christmas!

Great signing!!!

The wording on the announcement is a little strange though... signed for a "minimum 12 months".

Why not just say signed for 1yr with option for a further X yrs???

I assume the 2nd year option will be SL only. Which obviously adds an extra target to hit to trigger the option.

Anyone remember Catic shadow boxing with Gareth Hock after Jeffries scored under the posts?

Hock wanted nothing to do with ol' Ned

Appo has now re-signed with Bradford. Also not sure we'd sign another hooker with Kay & Smith here and Doyle due to sign so i'd deem Rimbu highly unlikely. Other might be worth a shout.

Just saw that. Shame.

Smith as yet hasn’t officially signed. Would be happy if he did as he looks the business.
Kay I’m still not convinced is a 9 personally.
Doyle presently is the only confirmed number 9 we have.

Bit weird to be trying to use the 2021 final as a feather in your cap when travel restrictions meant Catalan couldn’t bring as much as they could have and many people were still very wary about leaving their homes and going to mass gatherings etc. you also had 58k more than the 2020 final, impressive!

58k is a decent enough crowd tbf. Could have been worse. I would however expect a fairly decent following when it’s your first final in 5 years and your fans are by and large confident of a win. Читать дальше...

Hard as nails. Good work rate and will do the full 80.
Wouldn't say he is the paciest hooker but you will be impressed with him.
Wish we could of kept him but unfortunately we are at the wrong end of the league structure.

There is a comp for L1 and L2 teams, and some PL teams under 21's play in it

They are not going to change the league now. We are playing championship next year.

Sticking with comments on King. He refused to play in the reserves, forgot his passport when playing Catalans away and insisted on bringing his dog to training. Powell didn't like this attitude and he was out. If Wigan thought as much of him as suggested I am surprised they wouldn't pay all his salary when on loan, nor match his contract terms now. He's an average centre, miles behind Wardle yet he is being made out as the next Meninga.

I accept completely that our club is a basket case too. Читать дальше...
