Loved that black and red “Warrington Zingari” shirt, the 2016 remake with thicker hoops and new crest was a belter too, although the red was a lot darker

The sneak peek suggests it might be the first shirt I don't purchase for quite some time.

I didn’t mind Roberts mostly. I don’t think he is the next Paul Newlove but if he’s surrounded by good players he can do a job.
I do agree that it’s generally better to keep players in preferred position - this is why the continued development of the young players this pre-season is really important so we can use them.

From TRL just to save using up your searches for the week -
IN case you had been living under a rock, you will have realised that IMG released their provisional grades for all 36 professional clubs.
From Leeds Rhinos right down to the North Wales Crusaders, 36 clubs were placed in a table with points calculated from five different categories – fandom (5), performance (5), finance (4.5), stadium (3) and community (2.5).
Whilst the overwhelming majority of clubs decided not to broadcast the breakdown of those IMG points ... Читать дальше...

I see Wane has said today that Newman will go back to Leeds a different player after 3 weeks with him. I'm sure Rohan Smith will appreciate those comments.
This is the side of Wane that I don't like, the incessant need to big himself up. Whether or not there's truth in what he's saying it doesn't need to be made public and its comments like that which wind opposition fans up.
This isn't an anti-Wigan thing either. If another high profile coach had said similar I would be quick to criticise. Читать дальше...
Well said, Smithers99.

Next year does not concern me. Can Walters get to the level of KPP? Can Keighran get to the level of King? Can Thompson get to the level of Smithies? Easily. In the Wigan setup, with the young lads NickyKiss has mentioned having a confidence boosting year under their belts - we'll go really well next year and I feel we will be favorites to add to the 125 trophies we've won as a club...
My concern is 2025. Harry Smith, Bevan French and Jai Field all out of contract in 2024. Читать дальше...
