Can't see Ashurst not being first pick, so...Cozza will primarily be a middle...perhaps.
Isn't it fun to be discussing positive aspects of next season?

Good to see they’ve ruined that game too. Looking for every possible reason to send players off…..

Age a bit of a disadvantage, but still capable of running them in. A good signing imo.

Lewis was really good getting under the skin of the Tongans. Williams the better player overall but I’d probably keep Lewis for continuity.
Would probably bring Makinson back in if he’s fit. To be fair, that Tonga side is full of decent quality NRL players they’re no mugs.

Thought the attendance for the first game was poor but 7210 at Huddersfield today is shocking despite the North having all of those successful & forward thinking SL clubs. Maybe they all stayed home in anticipation of SA v NZ tonight.

Thought it was one of the most uninspiring experiences watching RL I can remember. Horrible game, horrible spectacle, horrible weather.
The comments from Wane were ridiculous and in all honesty the formulaic style of play was a reminder why Wigan fans were ready for a change after 2018.
Really wish England could get involved in a Nations series with Australia and New Zealand.

He looked nice and controlled on the whole.
Was just thinking again I think Leeds next year are gonna look alright. First choice team at least.

Great discussion about the grading system on iplayer after the game today. As much as I’m not a fan of him Wilkin asked Tony Sutton some very good questions.

A scrappy game but happy with the win. Time for Faz to retire from the international scene. Disappointed with the disrespect shown by Wayne Bennett in the past but absolutely staggered Shaun Wane has followed suit.

Excellent games from both wingers but Marty Lees and Bateman were immense

I actually think England could look very good at international level in another year or two.

Great tackle by Ashton, what a day he is having so far.

Poor crowd at Hudds the game needs to realise that town doesn't care about the game. Should have been played in London.

While id love our own ground again, fans need to remember that our crowds at the MKM wouldent fit in the Boulevard. The 12k we got for the final game there would give health and safety sleepless nights in todays era. With the size of the site and modern rules even if we had rebuilt the Boulevard I reckon you'd struggle to get a 10k capacity there now.
The MKMs atmosphere was good in the mid 00s when we were consistently good, its the years of disapointment that have caused gloom in the stands not the stadium. Читать дальше...
The Aussies just suffocated the big NZ pack who's only plan seemed to just hammer the Aussies down the middle .

Played the last 30 minutes, should have xome on earlier and moved Foran to 6.
Apart from the try, which is some achievement was pretty quiet, has good distribution and is a very good defender
Really looking forward to see him play for us.
