Bradford Bulls • Barrow at home
I agree with that. I hear Patton is going at the end of the year so why persist in selecting him if he's not giving 100%?

Highlights reels of both cup semi final and York home game now available via club’s social media. I believe lowlights reel still being developed- taking a little longer. Mind you the lowlights reel for the Widnes and Whitehaven games early doors last season still being compiled. I understand they are getting on for 80 minutes each.

If we’re giving Eckersley a shot, now would seem the time. We need to win the majority of our games, so there won’t be many opportunities after this.

By the way I agree with Mopsey in that if I were a director and Owner share holder I would be purchasing a red carpet, prostrating myself and my fellow Owner share holders in from of Matt Ellis , showering him with rose petals, welcoming him with a fanfare of musicians and simply asking please Sir how can we help your wish is our command

Priceless! But you seem to be accepting of these excuses for Powell, despite the resources and playing personnel he had available. He also has a history of blaming others, as was his usual response whenever Fax or anyone got the better of his Fev team. Matthew Shaw also wrote an article on Fax the other week and what he thought was a gulf between expectation of some fans and reality; he reported that our spend was probably in the bottom half of the championship - did you agree with that? Whitbread for eesh, Ilike Sam but he’s still raw, gives away a lot of penalties it seems, injuries permitting I think he still needs time on loan in the championship. We’ve not had the luxury of that this year though.

It looks almost certain we will be playing a team full of kids and loanees on Friday, do we pick a strong side and look to push our points difference in the right direction as the league is so tight and that could be key, or do we look to rest players ourselves? Byrne, Farrell, Smithies, King, Wardle, Marshall could maybe do with a rest? Would give them almost 3 weeks clear of playing to rehab any niggles and recharge batteries. Think I’d certainly be looking to play Shorrocks, Hill, Nsemba, Thornley and Hampshire. Читать дальше...

I see the wagons are circling around other opinions again on here. Byrne is an experienced prop now, not some rookie like Hill or Nsemba. He’s not been upto the job this year and week after week has been part of veiled criticism from Peet about the lack of intensity from our starting front row. I’m glad he’s being given some time out to recover from injuries he’s been supposedly carrying but then that brings us round to Peet’s use of the squad and trust in players. Can... Читать дальше...
