How do you value something thats worth nothing?

Leeds Rhinos • RD 5 | St Helens (H)

Again, the main reason we lost to Saints two times in my view is our errors. Penalties and really poor kicks/passes at crucial times. That's not structure it's player quality/form. The errors have robbed us of field possession and pressure at crucial moments.

Miller, Frawley again culprits this week. Miller is great running forward but we need to learn how to integrate him better into the team.

We weren't that far away - in fact we were the better side for half of the first game against Saints. Читать дальше...

If Wire TV did stream the odd CC tie live, maybe it would be worth the subscription I pay.
It’s been poorly supported since day 1.

It’s ran like a chore that someone in promotions has to spend 10mins on, during the season on a Monday morning, until the week after. Calendar watching until November, when they can get away with one post every 2 months.

If KF wants to make a viable product out of the Wire TV concept, then PM on here, we’ll talk and I’ll fill it and make it happen. Читать дальше...

Hull FC • Re: The Good Friday Derby Massacre

What's happening with the two lads we had from Warrington a few weeks ago?

Any chance we can get them back for a longer period this time?

It would be helpful as we seem to constantly be down on numbers with injuries and suspensions.

The two games they were here, we got our only victory against London and our best performance against Catalan.

Hull FC • Giants in the Cup - can we get Up for the Cup?

Also just watched the highlights, absolutely disgraceful defending, no rushing up, just letting the hudds players come to them, then not really being bothered to tackle or chase back any Hudds breaks

Leeds Rhinos • BBC Coverage of the cup game

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I had to turn the sound off at half time as the commentary was that bad
If the BBC's commitment to showing RL on their platform is to put it on the Iplayer then they might as well not bother.
Channel 4's coverage of SL games was very good and was almost like a breath of fresh air for our sport on terrestrial tv and it's a shame that it has ended

I know more than one person who couldn't find the coverage, even when looking on BBC iPlayer.

It's almost as though the game was hidden away on purpose. I've heard nothing but negative reports from those that did find it.

Wire fan here in peace. I had this same issue. They said it was going to be on the red button, but there was nothing there. I eventually found it, buried in iPlayer and nowhere near the front page. I really can't imagine any other live sport treated so poorly... Читать дальше...

It's mad to think that in 2024 there are medical things like this that still baffle the experts. The fact that they are scratching their heads unable to say if its cancer proves how unusual the disorder must be. Light at the end of the tunnel though touch wood.

I think as much as anything it shows how much Matty Ashton has developed notwithstanding the level of opposition.

Why won't it end well? If he does 7 years, then he'll have done a decade like Klopp has. What's not ended well there? If anything, the fans are begging him to stay.

Some people just want change for the sake of it. Regardless of results, or how things are going. It's baffling.

Yes I went to watch it, Moss had a steady game, definitely grew into it as it went on. Obviously he's missed 6 weeks or more with the injury. So was understandably rusty, also its the first time I'd say that spine has played together, Moss, Ackroyd, Ott and Jowitt so attacking combinations and timings where off at times. Читать дальше...

Saw a post on twitter during the week showing a couple of chaps on abseils tinkering with the DW sign above reception at the stadium.

Obviously raising speculation that a stadium rebrand is imminent. Makes sense as a new sponsorship brings in revenue and its been years since Whelan actually owned the ground, so it's well past its due date (maybe the only thing delaying would be the seat changes to remove the DW logos from inside) - massive job in itself, may as well change all 25k seats. Nice try and a nice assist but I highly doubt that would work against a big side in a big game. That defence was abysmal.

It will hopefully be a cracking game played in a great atmosphere.

I’m not too optimistic, we seem to be suffering the expected WCC hangover & St Helens though are clunky in attack (much like us) are defending very well. We really need to sort out discipline out.

I just hope the players decide the result rather than the ref.

Wakefield Trinity • Ky Rodwell

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

He’s 6-1 and 102kg, so the same size roughly as Luke Thompson. Looking forward to his energy alongside Atoni, Vagana and Uele, That’s a formidable pack that will hopefully lay the foundations for Gale and Lino to work off.

Wakefield Trinity • Re: Ky Rodwell

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I think Rodwell is the playerPowell has wanted from the start. Of our 80 minute forwards, Pitts and Ashurst have limited games left in them. I’m not sure about Cozza, Bain maybe, ditto Boothroyd.

Imo we deffo need an extra engine in the middle, a Kirmo style player. Think this guy will rip up the Chamionshp and will make the step up to SL.
