According to the latest email from the club (James Booth) over the posting out of replica shirts is - "the first batch is going into the post today and we hope to have all processed and sent by Thursday at the latest". Fingers crossed I get mine!!! Plus there is a code for two free tickets attached for the Salford game in recompense which makes me a fiver up on the early bird pricing way back in December 2023!

stayed one night in Perpignan before heading off to the French Alps to do some walking. Beware ! there is not a great deal to do in Perpignan unless things have changed. Only found 1 bar run by an Aussie guy

Looking forward to seeing how Fulton will go. I assume Ott is good to go if he's featured for the reserves. Corey Johnson didn't play for the Rhinos reserves this weekend so I assume he is back with us. Wilson and Green looked handy against Wakefield so hopefully they can kick on whilst they are with us.

I would, without doubt say he's one of the most valuable acquisitions we've made.
Powell clearly knows his value and I think we'll reap the rewards.
I've always said I'm a big fan of Moneyball and it's now happening at Wakefield.

Attendance wise it looked more than 1800 to me but i would never accuse the club of fiddling the attendance. Game wise i thought our middles did a pretty good job considering the size difference between the 2 sides, but once they attacked our edge defence even if we got our numbering right which we completely got wrong for their first try they ruthlessly exposed us with there pace power and clinical finishing. It goes without saying there was a big gulf between the... Читать дальше...

Looking forward to this despite both sides being a bit plagued by injuries and suspensions. We look very weak at prop and on the wings, and losing Gaskell really reduces our creativity. Could be an interesting line up. Edit - seems we Green and Wilson our loan props for another 3 weeks

Will Oakes/ Mackenzie Scurr - would be a full debut for either.

Travelling, but not confident. Our right edge is too weak defensively at the moment, and Ipape, Asiata and Amone are big misses from the pack.

That's the thing, if NRL teams are looking into him will it be as Stand Off, Winger or Full Back?
I'm just not sure they would take the risk, ie. He may not go at all if the offers aren't there.

Before we had kicked a ball this season, most on here were saying lets judge after 12 games, new spine has to bed in, half the side are strangers and unfair to judge too early. 5 weeks in and the knives are out. Sit back and reserve your judgment as you proposed at the season start.
Am I happy with the progress so far, of course I'm not. I'm also not going to throw anyone to the wolves this early

OK team so - most on here seem to feel we need a Fus replacement winger and maybe another prop.
So who do we think for wing? I don’t watch NRL so interested in any tips there… as for UK players it looks like we’ll miss on Johnstone and Davies (Johnstone would have been ideal for us).
Looking at who’s available, does Ryan Hall make sense on a one year rolling contract?
Jason Qareqare to join his brother Marcus at Leeds?
There are a couple... Читать дальше...

I think we'll see Saints start at a frantic pace, motivated by not only Wigan taking their trophies but by all the talk of Wigan being a side on the cusp of a period of dominance. I'm comfortable that we have more depth, a better attack and that we probably have less holes in our side to fill over the next few years than Saints do (although French and Field both deciding to leave would change that) but as things stand right now, I don't think there is anything between the two starting sides... Just a heads up for anybody following Trinity's link to Doncasters online ticket sales...if you're not careful you'll end up with tickets for their match against Sheffield on Friday
Thankfully their ticket office is very helpful and will exchange them for our game.

Agree, the have some Richard Heads in the stands but fr the majority of them I can't help thinking of that horrific feeling in the stomach knowing our ship was sinking and the other Richard Heads from other teams were crowing and shouting 'told you so' with such glee without every getting it through their thick skulls it can happen to any club very easily....
