This is just like the Rotherham away game after the last international break. You can tell they haven't trained together.
We're really struggling with their physicality, we're losing all the second balls

Im not sure why there seems to be a love in for that saints wigan game, there were a lot of errors, and ironically no ‘attacking structure’ from either side, Wigans discipline was really poor…
this place is doom and gloom central.

I thought Thompson was superb today. Especially after the HIA took the ball in all day and defended superbly. Good signs from him considering he was 'finished'

My guess is that we have the same starting 13 as last week except for Tai at Centre (I don't know who makes way) and Walker at at 9. Bench of Powell, Musgrove, Bullock and Nicholson.

Agreed.
We should all cheer on the lads and buy 7 different kits every season.
That’ll teach em.
Protesting is MEANT to hurt the club. If you’re happy with how things are, cool beans.

Intention is irrelevant. No player commits fouls Intentionally.

Now Byrne is red carded for a shoulder to the head which looked less intentional than the elbow to me.

The contact in the tackle from both teams is world's away from ours.

He should keep his spot until at least Walker is back and we can move Hoy. Brown should stay at hooker. Charles has nothing on him atm so doesn’t need overplaying but you can just tell he’s a natural half. The kick through for the McIntosh bombed try was just instinct.

The first half was woeful. Rovers did play some good rugby with the wind at their backs but we just never gave ourselves a chance. We looked laboured and disorganised and nothing went well at all.
The second half however did show us a way that we might be able to be more competitive. Charles looks very talented, and Brown looks a totally different player at 9. I also thought Ese'ese played pretty well again and Pele, if he can keep his discipline, does have something about him. If Smith can... Читать дальше...

Just been watching the academy highlights from last night and the pitch looks very heavy.
Apparently club is cancelling all the juniors games they have planned for pre match and the LDRL game at half time. The weather has pretty much been as forecast this week, so surprised they have left it so late to cancel.
Josh Addo Carr knocked clean out after Latrell Mitchell collision. Looked brutal, but not intentional to me. This game is so tough to play………

If Smith reverts back to Houghton at 9 next week then just shows he’s lost the plot.
For me Danny has been a great servant but it’s time to put a fork in him as he is done.
We have an international 9 in Brown and two young players in Charles and Balmforth who have the ability but need to be given a proper chance.

Hull FC, Leeds, Warrington. These clubs have the resources and the size to be serial grand final winners, yet they’ve seemingly just given up the ghost on the pitch.
They are just existing, in a malaise of mid-table nothingness.
Hull FC this season might even be worse than some of the Leeds ‘teams of recent years’.
Saints or Wigan will win the grand final this year and will continue to clean up for the foreseeable future.
The mediocrity of Leeds, Warrington and hull is really bad for the competition. Читать дальше...
