Leeds Rhinos • Rd 6 I Cas (A)
Got to say I've had enough of this passive defence.
A really poor team comfortably making 60-70 metres every set.
happens far to often for it not to be a tactic from the coach.
as you say ridiculous

Looking forward to it and hopefully Trinity can get the win this time on what looks like similar conditions to the Challenge Cup tie .

C'mon Trinity .

To me this is one of the ludicrous ideas of IMG that needs scrapping. If the politics of the area were changed, for instance Wakefield bacame a City authority again and a political boundary was drawn somewhere over the common to separate us from the five towns, we would gain IMG points. A clubs standing should not be dictated by a political boundary on a map.

Absolutely agree, you should only be scored on things you can influence/effect/improve, this criteria... Читать дальше...

Leeds Rhinos • Re: Rd 6 I Cas (A)

Defensively we’ve been OK most of the time this year with a few blips, Cas have struggled to score points. With the ball we’ve had some dry spells and some purple patches, Cas defence has been questionable if I’m being kind.

I’m going for Leeds 36 - 10 Cas.

Warrington Wolves • Re: The (official) Leon Hayes Thread

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

As long as he ignores the plaudits from the likes of us, keeps his head down and works hard he's showing all the attributes of developing into a very very good player.
Difficult to compare but he looks more comfortable and shows more promise than any other home grown half at this stage of his career in the SL era (I exclude Briers here because he was already well established.

An article by John Davidson below. Some insights on Gareth Ellis time at the club. Worth a read.

Great article and to anyone questioning whether there is a culture issue at the club, read Ellis's words and try to deny it after that.

I'd say that is a pretty fair piece by Davidson and thoroughly depressingly honest in all of the subjects he touches on. I... Читать дальше...

Can you imagine Burgess openly (and unjustly) placing the blame on a defeat on Hayes?

The man-management skills of Powell and Burgess seem like night and day.

you can see that with your own eyes. inviting teams to camp in your 20m zone only leads to one thing.

That’s working on the assumption that planning laws are applicable in that area. One has to wonder sometimes.

Don't think we ever got to the bottom of why he left. IIRC he wasn't on the released list, he just turned up playing union and was referred to as an ex Hull FC player.

Some of his positioning was questionable today but his tries were excellent. He's got a real physical presence too.

He got peed off people mispronouncing his name.

I hope the Welsh contingent are not too disheartened after Tuesday`s game.
Looking at Dan James`s face when he was told he would be taking the final penalty I had a feeling he would miss and was hoping the game was decided by then.
Farke reporting some injuries after the Internationals including Roberts, Gruev and Gnonto.
If we do have those players missing we could line up like this
Messlier
Gray, Rodon, Cooper, Byram
Kamara, Ampadu
James, Piroe, Summerville
Bamford

Wigan Warriors • Saints (a)

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Our attack doesn’t look fluid but neither does Saints from what I have seen, their forwards got on top and won both of their games against Leeds and Walmsley is looking good but I am confident our props can go up against Saints props now and come out on to, Bell being out is a bit of a blow for them, I think he’s a bit of an unsung hero for them.

Hull FC • Smith - should he stay or should he go?

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

An owner who believes were bringing a batch of academy products through.

A coach who doesnt have the balls to play 4 or 5 young lads at a time.

Hardly on the same page, the ironic thing is Martin and Staveley have been 2 of our best players, id argur Jebson and Balmforth would be too if given a chance.

Instead tired tony will persevere with woefully out of form players, oor limited players who cannot control the ruck, show desire in defence or organise a pissup in a brewery
