Warrington Wolves • Re: Chris Hill

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Yes, imo it wasn't right for Hill or the club for him to be made captain.

I'm not close enough to the team to know, but as an outsider looking in, I wouldn't have picked Hughes either. I'd have gone with Ratch, but maybe it was something to do with him and Price, and when Powell came in he knew he had bigger issues to address without adding a change of captaincy into the mix.

I do think sometimes those in the camp can be too close to make objective decisions.

Like Shudds who now owe Ken £20million.

Wakefield Trinity • Huddersfield next

Hudds are just about the worst team we could be playing next, they stick to Watsons structure and game plan, they are relentless when it comes to mistake free Rugby, high completion rate, no risk, hand the ball over on opponents try line, kick to corners, quick line speed etc etc. Plus of course they are aggressive, tough, hard running, pride themselves on defence and have a couple of players who can create and break down a defence.

But apart from that........

Bradford Bulls • Bradford Bulls Academy products in SL squads*

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

*Not exactly the headline, but for our purposes, it'll do.....

Bulls academy

I'll take HKR - 2 academy products in the 17 - Ryan and Storton. Milnes just misses out on the 17. Did Minchella come through our academy? Obviously from Bradford and played for us though.

It’s definitely looking like a long term plan.. and it’s hugely frustrating to be yet again in a rebuilding phase but there’s no other way. We’re still paying the price of some woeful recruitment going back to around 2017 / 18

I hope that olpherts is out of the team with Martin centre handley wing and Bentley Mcdonnell/Tetevano back row and Walters coming in.

The only smarmy bit is where Wilkin tries to say he was in support of Wire doing well this season. Trying to get us to vote for him as pundit of the year.

Leigh Leopards • Re: Joe Shorrocks

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I would imagine Sharrocks will start at hooker with no Smith. He has a good defence which will suit early in the game, then Impape to come on as he does later. So either Chamberlain at centre and Hardacker at fullback or Hardacker at centre and O’Brien at fullback.

Don't talk daft....it's the 12 or so internet whingers who are to blame. They drove people away from the game and alienated them. They're assuredly responsible for no replica shirts and sponsors and I can guarantee they'll be responsible for the move to Wimbledon when it goes tits up.
One thing is for sure...it ain't Dave's fault

Same here Smithers as Sky have moved Fulham's game to Sunday 12th, Saturday 11th is a perfect fit for the Chall Cup. The stars have aligned for once!

ps glad to see the Broncos twitter feed is back up and running after being unwell last match day

Doncaster RLFC • Rochdale vs Dons Sunday 5th March 2023 @ 1:00 pm

Apparently we have not won at Spotland since 2014...we were in the Championship at the time.
I have seldom watched us win there and have left that ground twice after 20 odd minutes in disgust.
My record for walkouts...

Still footy has no memory, so we may well change that on Sunday.
I won't try to predict it....how about you?
