If you seriously believe Isa is a great second row then I question more than your judgment.

Isa has been a great secondrow signing for Wigan.

One of the best signings we have made in the last decade.

Is he a super star? Absolutely not, but has he... Читать дальше...

They are definitely looking for a prop.

They were very keen on Mago over the summer, talks held, and we were willing to let him go.

They went for Atoni though in the end and he has been less than useless so far.

I just wonder if Tanginoa is a Wigan type player.

He is a very dynamic ball carrier but does have an error in him.

Made SL dream team in his first year but flattered to deceive ever since not helped by him being moved to prop for a season and a half. Читать дальше...

You are absolutely right that navigating the RFL website is a nightmare. Bizarrely, rather than going to their "Discplinary" page and clicking on "Disciplinary Cases", you need to go their main news page https://www.rugby-league.com/ and hope that you find the link there, which in this case is https://www.rugby-league.com/article/61 ... view-panel (and then you can click on "minutes" for more detail).

I'd rather we spend the money on a quality centre. We're fine for forwards. This will be Ma'tautia's last year, Ratchford on the decline, Wrench still unavailable. It's clear to see we're in need of a centre for this season and beyond.

Or so it appeared. I know I keep banging on about it, but he's been great so far this year. Not a weak link in the attack on the left and very, very good defensively.

The Virtual Terrace • Crowds

With 2.7million people in Manchester you are barely scratching a few percentage points when it comes to the number of people who turn up to a football game. Plenty of other people to target and get through the turnstiles.

The issue is not other sport, sports fans will watch lots of sports, the challenge is getting people off sofas, from central heated houses, with hi def wide screen TVs. To go to a cold, windy game, where you are some distance from the action.

Great news that attendances are growing... Читать дальше...

Any decent props at Wakefield? They’ve already let Johnson go to Hull KR, albeit on a swap deal.

Great bets but could cannibalise each other in regards the 3,2,1 points.

I had Bevan French at 25-1 in 2020 and Jai Field at 66-1 last year and neither won despite being the stand out player.

Who’s out of the squad this week? Clark, Kasino, Harrison and Maguire ? Any more ? Читать дальше...

An interesting interview. Very telling as to how little money we have, how vulnerable we left ourselves with closed season recruitment and a lot of contradictions I thought, between what he says is crucial and what we did in regards to 1,6,7 and 9. Lack of money or not, what we do have doesn't appear to have been directed to what we needed.

Wakefield Trinity • Some positive news gone unoticed

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Nobody seems to have commented on this, but in the last two weeks our Academy, Scholarship and Reserves have all won their games with impressive performances.

Now I know its really first team that counts, but it also shows that the club certainly has some depth. It also helps create a winning culture, I seriously doubt that the first team players like being the only team not to have a win.

If you got league points for structuring your club properly we'd be top 6, sadly in the British game it doesn't work that way. Читать дальше...

Finally got around to watching the match and its hard to say how we didn't win that game, we must have had enough chances to win it 2 or 3 times over which to be fair is the story of our season not putting games to bed and keeping teams in with a sniff.

If your saying that the club hasn't invested a penny on the East Stand and everything is pure profit.

How by the same token are you saying the club is skint because of the East stand?

Simples.

Because the East stand isn’t open yet so it’s not making money yet, whilst the stand it replaced is also gone. The main money earner simply isn’t there.
