Out of interest what username are you posting as on TotalRL Jean/LeBron. I've narrowed it down to about 6 and you could be any/all of them TBH!

No i heard all that but you cannot bemoan poor crowds when the product on the field is not worth paying to watch. I may be wrong but I think it is £26 for a standard match ticket, floating fans are not going to want to pay that to watch a team who cannot score a point never mind win a game.

He's not bemoaning it. He's saying why we don't have as much money, which was your question.

Leigh Leopards • Warrington v Leigh 17.3.2023

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

There has been much grumbling over ticket prices at the LSV this season and though I have been relegated to the East Stand I am able to sit on the half way line for the princely sum of £27.

At the HJ stadium with it's large standing areas priced at £24 for an adult, the seats on the touchline are a whopping £34.

They are just words though and actions speak louder than words and since Minnards has come in every action has been to take the cheap option on the coaching front and fail to invest in the playing squad to the point where we have by far the weakest squad in the league in terms of quality and depth.

The reason for not spending enough money has been explained by JM, in his latest update posted this morning. I suggest you listen and digest what he’s saying. Читать дальше...

Idiotic comment as usual.

Underhanded maybe, but idiotic it is not. Football is after all MC's first love is it not?

If MC wants to go do something else, and that something else is be involved in an exciting new footballing venture, who are we to undermine that dream?

I don't think that MC being involved in Wakefield AFC would ultimately be a bad thing actually, read of that what you will.

Certainly has potential, but the way some fans ate going on you would think he was Jamie Lyon, his poor attitude has been spoken about before too.

We either trust Smith to get the squad right or we don't, need some tough decisions, maybe this is one of them.

I wouldn't be surprised if the move is connected to Wynne and his attitude as like you say it's not something knew and its been reported before about his poor attitude and something I believe BH and Wynn himself have mentioned previously. Читать дальше...

Huddersfield Giants • Re: Leeming to the Giants?

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

You must watch a different game to me. Peats has a far superior all round game to Levi.
Levi offered energy around the ruck but had poor distribution which often slowed play down.
Peats is
Not quite as quick off the mark but has accurate distribution to either side and is also a better defender. Hence why he has played origin for NSW.

After watching that side on Sunday, all hope and optimism I had with the new Smith era has evaporated. I genuinely, now fear for the Club's very existence, with relegation a stark reality if that is the best we have to call upon. I know Andre and Sao are rusty and, before their respective injuries, were two of the better players we have, but the edge defending would allow a championship team to fancy a crack at us. Hoy had the chance to hold up a Salford try, albeit with the game gone... Читать дальше...

Machine. Can't find his stats on Superleague website though.

Bullock is doing well too.

Compare his meters to Cooper (for example). 385m vs 247m.

Tbf how many bobhats have Bullock or Vaughan produced and dispatched since the start of the season?

You complain if they get punished, and complain if the disciplinary panel are lenient. It wasn't unworthy of a penalty, he has been issued with a warning and yellow card sufficient.

At the end of the day, if Saints think that all refs are out to get them, they need to ensure they can't be penalised. Ie, play to the referee. If they are as good as people think they are then they should be able to win whilst playing a squeaky clean game.

Warrington Wolves • 2024 Out of Contract

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

So by my reckoning the following are out of contract in 2024, thoughts around retention?

Daryl Clark - Immediate thought was he has to say, great player and has started the season well. Will Powell think Walker can do a good job on a fraction of the salary with Doolan in the wings? https://www.warringtonguardian.co.uk/sport/23374801.daryl-clark-unsure-warrington-wolves-future/

Ben Currie - Seems to have been around forever but incredibly only 28. Sentimentality means I'd like him to stay... Читать дальше...

Have to imagine that there is a replacement in the works. At least that's the hope. With Larroyer out long-term, that's 22 'fit' bodies by my count.

King has left the club by mutual agreement. Shame we never saw how good he could have been. If things aren’t going well off the field then best he gets that sorted. Wish him all the best.
