I am afraid Saints have had it so good for years but this sort of backlash is pathetic. Mind you if we suddenly lose there will be a few on our forum who will suddenly re-appear & have something to say. It is the way it works. So far so good.

Friday awaits..

I'm not the one with a huge chip on my shoulder hunting around on other clubs boards for any mention of Leigh so i can get butthurt about it. I mean, we haven't played you recently, aren't going to be playing you anytime soon, and you have zero reason to be looking here, so who's the tool?

You.

Tbh in that second half we were caned with penalties..... never got in a position to apply any pressure near there line.

Do you not think that is a sign of a team that is tiring, just slowing play down ,miss timing tackels ,getting pulled for offside. That is all i saw in the second half We did the same the week before ,very little play in the opponent's half in the second half

We’ve had a few teething troubles with the new coach, but come on - we all know we’ll do the league and cup double this year. You’re all dreaming if you think you can stop us….

I too think Mata’utia was brought here for more than just being an average centre. I don’t expect him to be here next year, but if he has played a part in Powell’s plan behind the scenes, that’s good enough for me.

Well I’m wasn’t expecting that well done the boys. I followed the sportsman link and watched the game live, on my (52inch, not bragging) TV and free of charge. Well done the you tube sportsman Chanel. Great coverage and commentary. I really enjoyed what they produced. The Panthers win was the cherry on top. We played well and defended well. A few gaffs here and there. Keys off with his kicking again. Overall a top performance. Great trys by Walmsley and Jouffret.

Fev got beat without Dean today...shows what a difference a quality half back makes

Fev didn't have Ford either today (reportedly out with what might be a long-term knee injury) and four other regular starters, but there was more to it than that, just far too many errors.

Both Warrington and Fev seem very happy with the arrangement for Dean and I suspect Warrington will continue to want him playing behind a pack that, notwithstanding today, is usually on the front foot. Читать дальше...

Wonder if the new owner of Wakefield AFC, has considered investing in us, as they are now moving in.

By all accounts, he, and the company he owns, look to have a quid or two.

Wakey huffed and puffed but looked clueless for large parts of that game.
The fact we continually ballsed up our chances certainly kept them in the game but as soon as we got ourselves going we were far too good.

Side note, anyone else get massive “Willie Mason at HKR” vibes on Proctor? He was absolute gash, if I was a Wakey supporter id be furious with that non appearance.

At the end of the day you can’t coach something that’s not there!

If he wasn't given the finances or opportunities needed to build the squad he wanted, he should have never taken the job. He's been involved with coaching at the club for quite some time, so we can only assume that he was both happy with the squad, and happy with the recruitment and direction. Читать дальше...

Hull FC • 50pt Hammerings

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Another fun day to be had by all yesterday just depressing, we usually wait until at least June before these performances start to happen.

How many times, since the start of the 2018 season (when the rot first began), have we conceded 50pts? I confess, I've lost count!

We change the coach, we change the players, we change the backroom staff, but no-one seems capable of stopping these capitulations from happening.

Four head coaches, if we include Last, and still we have to sit there watching these horror shows unfold.

He clearly loves to be thought of as some sort of hero but when the going’s got tough, he’s been missing in action. **Edit** I read he’s just commented that everything will be ok but there will be challenges to come. Both Saints and Wigan lost this week and although they know it's a long season and you don't win anything at this stage they want to perform against sides they see as threats. Saints won't care at all that they lost to Leigh, they have always dipped against poorer teams but they won't want to lose to us that's for sure. Wigan's pack looks really weak, and i'm not sure about Peats, we handed him the CC final last year with our inability to go for the kill, they would have lost to most other sides that day... Wakefield Trinity • 3 on the bounce

Clearly targeted lyne and kershaw wing in second half with much joy , first a bomb knocked back into welcoming arms and ran round a static lyne to get near the posts , then two simple quick moves caught them both off guard again and pawing fresh air to go in the corner , 16 points down in the blink of an eye.

Some nice posts here from other fans. Thanks for those. No chickens being counted here in Vancouver but I’m certainly looking to go buy a bit of chicken scratch just in case.
I think we have the squad and the right people in key coaching etc position to keep ahead of the bottom 3-4 pack.
