As I said on the other thread, sensationalist click bait reporting a sensible proactive approach from a business who need a firm guarantee what they are planning on showing will go ahead. There nothing in that release that says the game adainst Hull is not being played.

Plus the Salford Wigan game is a more mouth watering prospect.

Leeds Rhinos • The ONLY LUFC Football Thread

I think that's the issue mate.
Quite a few of our players look good in the 23`s such as Greenwood, Perkins, Allen, Gray, Joseph to name a few.
But when they step up to the first team they do look undercut.
Yet some teams have very good teenagers playing for them.
Joffy is really struggling at Sunderland even though some of us thought he was the next big thing to make it..
I hope we can get Drameh, Cresswell and Hjelde in the first team next year.

Manley Eels game today was good.
The size of the forwards sorry Leeds Luke if you are reading seem much bigger athletes than ours along with their backs.
Played much faster too.

I get that Wakey pulled out seemingly last minute after it was all agreed but would have thought the club would've taken the opportunity to move out a player that has no future at the club, rather than continue to pay to have him sit in the stand. Its not like we will get many takers for the players we want/need to move on.

I agree Chris hardly makes any commercial sense

The incentive of hopefully knocking the bullies out again should be an added motivation against Barrow. Also a boost to funds for hopefully strengthening the squad. The loan of Gannon is a good sign that maybe we've finally seen the light over the futility of the DR system too. We can only hope. Up The Fax!

I hope they won’t even be thinking about Bradford or the possibility of the 5th round as an incentive or anything else until when and if they get past Barrow in the 4th round. Читать дальше...

Huddersfield Giants • Re: Next two games

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I suspect Ikahifho has been injured as he’d didn’t play for the reserves last week.
Trout has played the first two games.

I expect Rushden and Trout will come in for English and Greenwood from last week.
Naiqama back at centre with Goulding on the bench and Will Pryce replacing Fages.
That then leaves a straight choice between Ashworth and Ikahifho for the last bench place.

Reports in the press that the Knights are after KPP with immediate effect due to their injury crisis.

The way he has started this year I’d happily let him go, however due to our lack of depth in the secondrow we would be mad to agree without replacing him first.

And me, I see no value in keeping him.

Wakefield Trinity • Stadium and other issues

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Listen to various interviews it was WP getting his marching orders one minute and MA was in the next being offered the job. The justification for not going further was the fact due process in terms of who was out there was undertaken the previous year before WP was appointed. We knew who was out there and there was no one we wanted who was prepared to take on the role in the first place. I can imagine most coaches of note will have taken one look at the task and thought 'Not for me'.

I’ve not really kept up with how he’s been doing the last couple of years in the NRL. Don’t remember him standing out in the World Cup, but can’t be too bad if he’s still making the squad.

Didn’t he want to be at home to be closer to his kid/kids who lived with his ex? Or did I dream that?
