Wigan Warriors • Shorrocks

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

He did play second row at times, certainly in his earlier academy days. He isn’t big enough to play in the middle IMO and it feels like there’s a second row spot opening up. Leigh is a good place to be making a case for a chance in that spot anyway (presuming he is playing second row, I’ve not actually seen much of him during his time there so far).

As for Hughes. If he's serious about "staying" he needs to employ a professional CEO, give him shares as part of his package and concentrate on growing the fan base, because at present he has a tin pot accountant who basically can't find his arris with either hand.

I notice in the Confirmation Statement posted by London Rugby League Ltd on 25-Jan-23 all the shares in the club are now in the name of Jack Hughes.

Hull FC • Hull FC Podcast

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Evening!

So leaving the Salford game and the gloom where it is, what are poeples thoughts on a Hull FC Podcast? Somewhere where games can be discussed, previewed, analysed as well as player and ex player interviews, maybe even get opposition fans involved to preview games as well to get their perspective?

Also, would it be better as a YouTube viewable Podcast or just an audio option?

Keen to get your thoughts.

Think S L clubs know we should be out of S L this time ,so they are putting the boot in big time for anything. Keeping the headlines of them to get a higher grade That is the problem when you are one of a few clubs who have tried to play it fair .When we have gone think Cas could be the next saying there ground is not up to stranded, Most of these S L clubs forget they are playing in Football Stadium, or paying no rent It is now dog eat dog

Yes but success some time ago. As FC fans have posted there has been a steady decline in recent years.

What Hudge has or has not done at Rovers or any other chairman in SL for that matter is irrelevant when discussing the responsibility for FC’s present woes.

Pearson has made the decisions about coaching appointments and surely had input into the length of contracts if not the players themselves.

Of course it isn't. Otherwise what can you judge Pearson on. Читать дальше...

I'd rather drop Evans than Taylor, who for the first 2 games showed up okay. Definitely better than Evans anyway. I'd say based on that he has earned another chance but seriously needs to show something.

Completely wrong. Clubs can't achieve an A grading if they don't run an academy.
Salford could finish top of the league and win every competition going but unless they start running an academy, they will never get a better grading than a B.

Wigan Warriors • IMG Announce Proposed Criteria for Super League 2025

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

It's a difficult one this and whilst I see the point that he's making, the sport needs to build a better future and the same teams popping up and down between the two leagues isn't going to do that and neither is teams playing "top flight sport" in stadiums that are frankly worse than some non-league football grounds.

Stadiums need to improve, academies need to be improved and the whole infrastructure of clubs needs to improve.

Warrington Wolves • WIRE YED Prediction Competition Leigh Home

In addition their ex Wire contingent being in their squad and some enterprising recruitment generally, based on the early rounds, this Friday's St Patrick's Day clash with Leigh at the HJ should be a Bobby Dazzler.

They'll bring a few and maybe we can find some of the 1500 'missing' from the Salford game to get behind the P&B to help the lads back up the 4 from 4 start. Who will be drowning their sorrows at the end of the Ceili the Wire or Lobby Gobblers?

You decide and Go n-eiri... Читать дальше...

he has been a 'good' super league winger.

he does plenty of hard yards, has a good try scoring record.. finishes well.

Defence can be a bit iffy though.

Not sure he ever looked like a world beater... He did look decent when he burst on the scene... happens to loads of wingers though doesn't it.
