Hull FC • Good Friday Derby: Record score for Hull KR

Bookies have both Humberside teams even keel.
I think the Black & Whites of the West side of the river will win this.

Let's hope we don't get spanked by Wigan a la 2013, because we know what that started......thanks again Dave

Hull KR • Re: Hull v Rovers

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

With Cas playing Wakey as well, it is a big couple of points on offer for Hull. Win and it’s unlikely they’d be dragged into a relegation battle. Lose though, and it’ll extend their streak to 6 and they’d have to be looking over shoulders with some tricky fixtures coming up. It just depends when they bottom out… they shouldn’t be as bad as they were last weekend, for all that Warrington were very good for 40 minutes. I’m not sure what ails them, but we’re still at the stage where it is most likely... Читать дальше...

If that comes to pass, one win after 9 games leaves just 18 games to reach 20 points [What i think will be needed this season to stay up]
This will mean winning at around once every other game left, or going on a remakable winning streak of say 7 games in a row plus the odd other win here and there.
I'm usually a glass half full person, but i don't think the current squad have it in them to reach 20 points for the season. The only other thing that might save... Читать дальше...

I hope you are right, it ruins the game. I know some teams are expert at milking the rule but the game was already fast enough, blatant holding down should still be penalised, but some players are wriggling and kicking before the tackle is completed. I'd like to see that penalised as much as the other way but it won't happen.

It needs to go for me, worst part about the rule imo is that there’s no time to question what it is you’ve done. You can’t correct... Читать дальше...

Took mine up as a lockdown and furlough project, and replaced it with part paving, part patio. Looks good, even though I say so myself.

Could do to give it a clean, as there's a bit of green forming. Possibly a job for over the Easter weekend

Saints fans really like him, which says it all in truth. He’s an absolute horror show for us, simply because he seems to want to prove he’s not a bias Wiganer.

Funnily enough I rate Chris Kendall but Saints hate him and don’t get him very often due to the fuss kicked up after every game he takes of yours.

Wakefield Trinity • Re: Bust up

We certainly have a very toxic element on the Facebook group , I love winding them up . They certainly seem to have it in for MC , damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t . One particular Nasty individual has admitted to never going to the games and lives over Liverpool way and think played soccer with MC at some point , boy he goes to town on him , along with his band of merry men . I make it my mission to give them grief back at every opportunity. Both him and Minards looked at ease at the luncheon club ... Читать дальше...

Having plucked up enough courage to watch the Saints game, i'd love to be optimistic......but, wow it was bad. They must have coughed up the ball 7 or 8 times, then we returned the favour mostly! I wouldn't say they won at a canter, more of a trot, they bombed 3, didn't kick all the goals, so it could have been well over 50. We created 2 chances, Lino knocking on, then amazingly near the end, an overlap created!! Senior drops it. Seriously, I just don't know how we are gonna get out of this hole, we are just so inept with the ball. Читать дальше...

Warrington Wolves • Re: The big test!

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Only concern I have with the Catalan game is how much they will be allowed to slow the ruck down. Can’t remember which game it was it was a TV match and at the time I was thinking wow they are getting away with a lot without being penalised. Can’t remember who reffed that one but if they get away with it again it will hurt us as we are about speed, otherwise I still expect us to win.

Bradford Bulls • Halifax (A)

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I played a bit at centre about 30 years ago, maybe I should have a go?

Just shows that going into the season with only two bona-fide centres has blown up in our faces. IMO Blackmore isn't so good with his lateral movement and could easily get caught out in the centres. It's a really difficult position to play defensively as every decision is a potential try saver.

Picking Myers would be a real baptism of fire for a kid. I'm still hopeful that Gill makes it, even if he's only 70% fit. Читать дальше...

Hence why I said Wakey will be the worst if they don't win a game.

Halifax went down on 0 points but had actually won a game.

Wakefield Trinity • Bust up

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Anyone heard goss that there’s been a bust up at the top.
I am as fed up as have ever been and this is probably my time to give up. I’m very fit and in my 70s, love going, but so many old fans like me seem on the verge of finishing too, they are worn out by constant crap.
Stuff like players allegedly having to bring their own breakfast and lunch due to penny pinching. Everything seems toxic. Are we going in one direction or two? Can it be clarified if we are allegedly trying to offload blocks of players, the stadium and control? Читать дальше...

Think there’s rose tinted glasses there, just because we’re a poor unit right now doesn’t mean we have some top players:

- Clifford walks into pretty much every SL side. Bet he wishes he went Warrington to partner Williams behind their pack.
- injury free, Savelio is a Rolls Royce.
- trueman hasn’t played yet so the Jury is still out but he’s probably a bit more reliable than Lewis right now.
- Hoy would also be class in a decent side where he doesn’t have to take 10-15 hit ups from his own 10. Читать дальше...
