Greater transparency required already! The BBC have done a fair job of explaining the proposals but a useless job at talking to the clubs and explaining their views, but maybe that is the fault of the clubs. Bulls boy has come up the the voting data but I have no idea how he did it, I can't find anything published anywhere!
Surely it would be better for the clubs and IMG to be totally tansparent at this stage so we can see who voted for, against and abstained, but, more importantly, it... Читать дальше...
In answer to a few of these points a lot of them are just opinion and not actually fact. Heres how i see it
1. To say we wouldnt have a club without him is a guess - if he hadnt of took over then someone else would - just like if he left someone else would buy us - we wouldnt just dissapear ffs 2. Yes he spends all the money on the squad and bugger all on staff that would help out with the running of the club - thats not good and is shown in the shambolic way the clubs run in some areas 3. Cas fans seem as delighted with this as we do with our lot. Bit of a free run for him this season for him with us being so utterly useless. Next year however if they don't improve, they could be looking over their shoulders all season. If its Fev they may just get another reprieve.
What we do about the 5k attendance target I don’t know.
It was "flannel" from Hughes, but he'll no doubt say "he tried" when in reality all he's done is hand a cheque over to either Blanchard, Gus or Lobster and say "run the club" Blanchard had a bit of a clue but knew we needed more, whilst the other 2 couldn't believe their luck and whilst stealing a wage, destroyed everything. The only way you'll see 5k at plough lane is if you start following AFC Wimbledon
I wonder why Halifax voted for it if it meant we never have a chance of promotion, I know they have set up a separate entity to deal with img and appear to be doing everything they can to benefit the club , they could do with announcing something just to clarify our position.
Maybe we are happy to be relegated this year, the final season of P&R. (2023) That would allow us to clear the decks, release players etc & spend 1 year in the championship (2024) Have we then been promised a place in SL the year after due to the improved facilities at Belle Vue (2025)

James Donaldson not in the squad for this week. He won't have featured in the last 7 matches. Can't help but feel like an early release or loan deal is in the offing especially when you consider Walters and Gannon are likely ahead of him in the pecking order.
I feel like Rutter gets a lot of unfair stick just because of his price tag. He didnt ask to be sold for that much and he only seems to get brought on the pitch when the game has gone, what was he meant to do against Liverpool when we were starved of the ball? Like others have said, i agree, we shouldnt have bought him.
Hopefully Wober starts on Saturday with Koch, I thought Koch seemed pretty solid in the first half but its hard when the rest of the defence plays shocking. Читать дальше...
What are we thinking for this one? Is it an opportunity to go into the international break strong, or an opportunity to give some of the lads who've played all season a rest (especially after the last 3 weeks)?
I believe Powell is suffering from two badly swollen black eyes, so not sure if he'll play? Likewise, will Faz get a much needed rest?
The optimist in me thinks things are bound to get better. Trueman coming in to complete our spine getting games under their belts and improving, Carlos/Savelio getting back to their bests after long layoffs, forwards finding a bit of forrm, its all bound to happen eventually right?
The pessimist side however thinks things will continue to get worse. Granted this is by far the worst position Wakey have found themselves in, however they have a habit of always just doing enough to survive. Читать дальше...
But isn't that the issue right there? Hull and Huddersfield went bang and two clubs were sacrificed for them (but we're the RFL pets still ) and at that point I was sure rules were put int to ensure that clubs were not expected to make a loss yet here we are with clubs in SL masking the games issues by pouring millions into clubs and them taking the losses.
Hudds would be dead in a breath again as would others. Читать дальше...
Games against Leicester, Bournemouth and West Ham are must wins and the hope Spurs have no chance of a CL place last game of the season. Play like we have done the last 2 games and we are down. Pick the same players in the hope they come good and we are in trouble imo. I`m no Cooper fan but he has got to be better than both Struijk and Firpo and Wober needs to play LB if Cooper plays .
