Errors: We've made the 3rd fewest errors in SL, with only St Helens and Huddersfield with fewer, though Saints have played fewer games and Leigh have averaged 9 errors per game, and Saints with 9.6 per game.

Metres made: We're 2nd, only behind Warrington. We've made 13,259 metres in 10 games and Warrington have made 13,437.

Not only aren't there player numbers for a 14 team league (you could argue there aren't enough for a decent 12 team league) there just isn't the money to fund it either. There isn't a TV deal in position for any division next year as it stands and it is widely expected that any deal signed will be a short term one on the same terms at very best the but more likely slightly less. If we hadn't had Forber we would have had to name an injured player. Mason was here because Bowden and Tanginoa weren't ready.

Some were because we needed something different.

Senior came because we lacked speed. That wasn't quite the answer we hoped for but not his fault.

I saw this - I'm sure a lot of people would shudder at the idea but there's not exactly a ton of available English forwards out there. Would completely depend on whether he was fit/healthy and whether he was willing to come on a short term basis.

But given this is clearly a stressful time for everyone, teams often give players a couple of days break to recharge, especially when they miss a weekend.
