Oh dear, some of us are hurting. Looking back years to try and find something to salve the hurt of the present isn’t a healthy option. This seasons results have mainly been an embarrassment and I’m sure it doesn’t actually help to make you feel better. You’d be far better trying to live with the reality. Your situation has been getting steadily worse for over two seasons now with no real hope of an early solution. Hoping for a better future for your club must be ... Читать дальше...

Who is the mystery "middle" that might be available this week.
Is it Luke Thomas?

Warrington Wolves • New signing needed now?

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I’ve said it enough times on here…

You need 2 packs to win SL.
We have 2 packs, and normal service will resume very soon.

Fortunately we’re only playing Saints this week, so we can get through the next 2 weeks without dropping any more points.

Wigan Warriors • Wire (A)

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Looking ahead to that game on Thursday, I can’t remember a game that’s felt as win, win for Wigan in a long time. Wire lose and we have a shot at going top on Sunday. Saints lose and it keeps their poor form going.

Looking forward to it.

Bradford Bulls • Batley (H)

What we were missing Sunday was an on field general, we are not a bad team, just a badly organised team. We looked better when Lawrence was fit and he led from the front but... past his best and injured.. Walker i am still not sure he will survive the season once back on the field.. injury prone and if he does survive will use us to springboard his career elsewhere.. We need a Penguin and fast.

Has got two separate one-march suspensions from yesterdays game.

Haven’t decided whether this is a blow or not. Hopefully Bowes gets a chance now.

Halifax Panthers • Re: Halifax vs York

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

For me that was a poor game. York have got the excuse that they had lots of players missing but had a go for the full 80. I agreed with Lannon getting the man of the match he is awkward to put down and Jake and Lachlan were the other 2 positives for me as well as woodburn-hall getting plenty of ball. We do look short of confidence with the ball and why we try to go side to side before earning the right to doesn't help either because the space is just not there. For me we look way off where we were... Читать дальше...

I came to the game in Round 2 - but was not going to attend this one given our form and the lack of interest from our senior players.

Out of interest, did anyone perform well? Heard decent reports back on how Litten went at full back, but when a 19 year old has got MOM for us twice in his 5/6 games he has played for the club, that says a lot about the rest!

He went very well, caused us a few problems with his kicking. Plenty of energy as well. Easily your best performer on the night. Читать дальше...

It was wet, I discovered just how waterproof my waterproof trainers are (not very), and it was as decent a game as you're going to get in those conditions.
Turns out if you take out an entire spine of a team, you tend to struggle. Fartown well worth the win

Wighton still looks like a big centre playing stand off, rather than a genuine halfback. He'd only work alongside a proper playmaker.

I've always liked Tupou - good finisher, great in the air and makes big post-contact yards running the ball back. I'm not sure I'd want to spend a lot on a winger though, even if they are marquee.

If proper outcasts like Field, Hastings and Dufty are pulling up trees, Wighton could play prop and still be MoS. Читать дальше...

Warrington Wolves • WIRE YED Prediction Competition St Helens Away

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Another week and another 'big test' coming up for the Wire, Powell's P&B charges head over to WA 9 to take on everyone's second favourite team Saint Helens.....(I'll leave that thought with you).

Anyway who'll come out on top in the battle of the current Champions and the Champions elect? Can we recover in time following our recent exploits, will we be getting anyone back to bolster our ranks, or will our MIA list be longer than theirs? Will their iffy early season form continue (fingers crossed). Читать дальше...

Wakefield Trinity • What next?

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Is it just going to be more of the same or are we going to bring in an experienced coach who can motivate the players and put some attacking structure in place or are we going to keep taking other clubs rejects and short term second division French players and expecting a miracle. When are we going to hear something from the club?

What's amazing is, how consistent the games have gone generally. It's like we try to bore the opposition to death, or to put it more politely, contain them up to half-time, then basically come out for the 2nd half do everything possible to be the worst version of what we are?! I don't think they could try harder to be any worse. Now all of that probably doesn't make any sense but hey ho! To quote the imperious Mr. Vastman after last season's horror show against Cas on Good Friday.....'it makes you wonder if the players' are being wilfully crap.

The bloke has all the qualifications to do the job and has a lot of experience in the business.

Whether he’s doing a good job is questionable but now he has Tony Smith to manage the rugby side and he can do the commercial.
