Halifax Panthers • Re: Bradford on Monday.

Great result. Keeping them
Nilled was most pleasing. They looked clueless on attack.

Halifax v Bradford
Very professional performance by Halifax.
On paper this should have been close.
Considering Bradford had the likes of Bodene Thompson, Jordan Lilley, Jack Walker and Dec Patten, they were as disappointing as Halifax were whatever the oposite is!
Simon Grix had them all working off the same script. They were clinical in attack and their final plays were spot on pinning Bradford time and again back on their own line and in the corner.
I'm suprised they are mid table. Читать дальше...

London Broncos • IMG Vote

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Currently I see us light years away from anything other than the third tier in terms of grading.
For us to achieve A status, we would need somewhere between 20 and 30 million invested over 10 years by a competent investor, but with us shackled to Hughes and his offspring by massive debt and with an average side, playing in an unsuitable stadium its not going to happen.
Better to outgrow a stadium like Trailfinders and move to a 5k arena rather then move with 900 fans to a 10k. Better to spend that extra money on a better squad. Читать дальше...

Mikaele wanted to leave before the season started, KFP convinced him to keep going and we’d try to support him and his family - he did. He then asked to go home again, we asked him to stay with us until McGuire was back - he did. In that time he played fantastically. I think Mikaele was very professional and tried to help us out during a difficult patch injury wise.

If word gets round we don’t allow NRL players to go home if they have issues or they are not happy... Читать дальше...

Don't think Connor has anything to prove given how bad we are

And although I didn't think he was as great as people made out but he was our biggest assist by a mile

Now we're struggling to score at all

Still hopeful hoy will come good at some point

The Virtual Terrace • Saints squad, can they be stopped?

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

Very surprised Saints have battered Warrington like that with 9/10 players out. 6 of who would probably start.

Nightmare from Warrington. Looked really flat and lacked any sort of urgency. Old habits creeping in? Or did they think after Saints poor start coupled with injuries, all they had to do was show up?

There may be some development on the club front hopefully over the next week or so and hopefully they'll be able to help

Is there any way they can stream it live on Facebook? Will reach a larger audience with Wigan fans to start off which in turn should increase the number of followers on Spotify. A lot of people do prefer to watch videos over listening. Читать дальше...

Delaney was excellent. He has a good burst of speed off the mark and makes ground on every carry. Lees needs to find that form more often. He stood up when Walmsley was missing last season and again tonight, so he can make ground with the ball but seems to leave it to others when Walmsley and Paasi are in the side.

As for Wire, it’s been a sobering 2 weeks. I look back to that Catalans game and maybe people should’ve seen it coming. They played a vastly weakened Catalans team that day... Читать дальше...

Someone is going to have to educate me here I don’t claim to have all the knowledge of the rules are if there actually any. Anyway I thought I read somewhere that it was about speeding the game up (which we evidently rely on)

So my concern before the Catalan game I knew teams would have to slow us down. Catalan had mastered that in one of their previous games and then Wigan done it to us and from the get go Saints done it to us. Now fair play they got away with... Читать дальше...

Hughes statement about 5k fans was his usual total bullshit. He was never going to back it up with the investment and effort required to actually grow such a crowd. All he has done is take us backwards.

He fell lucky this morning in his little cameo roll.
If you'd seen him for the two weeks previous, well, he couldn't tackle a Yorkshire Pudding.

Halifax Panthers • Re: New signing

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I’m not gonna get into the signing specifically as I think some of the reactions are way over the top especially on Facebook but one thing I did notice in Grixs’ interview regarding the signing was an acknowledgment from Grix even if it was inadvertently that he does see a place for a bigger prop who does less minutes, he clearly says that at one stage or another he and Fleming had a disagreement regarding his role Grix saying he saw him as an impact prop and not a big minutes prop as Fleming saw himself.
